Confusing but worth it
This was hella confusing but come on...we all came for Doyoung. This drama gave me a headache even before it aired. I was scurrying around looking for sources to watch it and after the "first episode" aired, it turned out to be the whole drama. (https://youtu.be/gL9dbtDRl2M)
As for the story, I didn't watch the previous seasons because I also couldn't find them. It was confusing at first, but near the end, I got the hang of it. They definitely needed to spend more time on relational development in the story, especially Son Ji Woo and Kang Sun Min.
As for the acting, Doyoung was good considering this is his first acting gig. The female lead's acting was much more natural, considering that this is also one of her first acting gigs alongside "True Beauty" as a minor role. The support characters did their fair share of confusing me, but I don't think I should dissect this too hard because it's only a short.
The best part of this drama is probably the OSTs that we got from Doyoung (https://youtu.be/PyWedT7IVkw, https://youtu.be/gmzSPOx5gmQ) I especially liked 'Night Air.'
Overall, I would only RECCOMEND if you are an nctzen. If not, I don't think this is right for you :(

Good Enough
Cafe Midnight Season 3: The curious Stalker had an interesting story to present. The main points that get the viewer confused at times are the flashbacks and the scenes that are just the fears of the main character that are presented as part of the present storyline. Also, one needs to get a grasp on the concept of the series, that is the "time manipulation" theme.Other than that, the atmosphere of the drama was magical and the main story was sweet. The mother-son relationship was interesting, although the mother's sickness could have been better explained. Also, the ending was not as good as the rest of the story, as it felt sudden and rushed.
The romance was cute though. The friendship was sweet and refreshing too. The leading lady did a great job with her character and she nailed those dancing scenes. The rest of the performances were okay.
So, overall, six out of ten.

Getting better love how they interact with S1&S2
I enjoyed 1st & 2nd season of this fantasy realm that once again you feel a sense of comfort in season 3. This one starts different when a boy Son ji woon walks off bus#b23 and start toward the Cafe. Now you see him looking for his mom Na Yeon-hee who after an accident develops a type of dementia/alzheimer who is looking for a coffee shop she went to with Kyung sun in there HS day. Now Sun-min tells jiwoo she leaving for Seoul in 3days and asked him to come or tell her to stay when they sit on a bench and find the map to Cafe Midnight. Ji woo sees his mom but looses her and then a bus stops he gets on the next stop his mom gets on and gives the driver food then she gets off and ji woo follows. She turn RT and he goes LF as per the map and finds the cafe and enter it sun min works there and sneaks out since jun-gi is coming. He meets Lee Dae-chul whos waiting on a girl to show up and make a bet with ji woo for the next nite. The next day his mom forgot to turn off the stove so he reminds and goes to school and on the way home he asked sin-min about working since she leaving the next day and she denies it. So then he stops at moms job and she tells him she has a date and he ask about her brooch. Now on the bus to Cafe and inside the Cafe sun min teaches him how to make an Einspanner coffe and ask that its been 2yrs why doesn't he recognize me. Ji woo enter the cafe and jun-gi is working then Master gives him a coffee and tell him to drink it slow by levels. Lee Dae chul shows up stating his date came and hes meeting her to give her the brooch(he saw his mom wear it earlier) and leaves. The next day is Sin-mim last day to leave for seoul and as he brings her home to spends time and teacher her to make Einspanner and)tries to tell her he likes her and promises to see her before she leaves. That night on his way to the cafe he noticed the bus drivers name and constellation key ring as he walks to the cafe(inside yeon-hee and kyung-sun writing note for Dae chul she leaving for seoul and gives him key ring) as he enters and passes the girls saying Yeon-hee and then see the note w key ring. Things are starting to come together then he see Sin-mim in front of him and wonder why. She should be home packing for seoul, but why does she have makeup on & changed and she see him in the clothes from 2yrs ago when they realize hes in HS still. She ask why he didnt come to see her off that she call a few times and then block him. So they ask Master can they change the future and how will that effect the past he says if its ment to be it will happen they agree hell stop her. So he wakes the next morning and he tells his mom its ok to date and as he gets up go to stop Sin-min from going, but his mom collapses and he dropped his phone and wasnt able to stop her. He goes to cafe and she leaves a note again (end of S2) and master stated that it might be wrong timing and he agrees that why he probably didnt contact her after 2 yrs. Next we see his mom get on the bus and remembers Dae chul Oppa and key ring as they smile in memories. We see ji woo trying to call and leave messages that he coming to fimd her and back at the cafe the Master get a box and send out 2 invitations. Will there be S4
The end? Pay attention to all small details and it will all come into play.

A Great Instalment To The Series! Seukka Seukka!!
☕️ Before going into this what you have to keep in mind is that this work is essentially part of a companion series. This means while it focuses on new characters, there is a concept that connects them all. After seeing all of the comments, I decided to not take chances and watch them all even though I mainly wanted to just watch this one for ? Doyoung.
They were all short and it was a good decision because season 1 is where they explain how the cafe works. Season 2 is set parallel to season 3 so some more things tie in.
And while I think I would’ve managed fine without watching the first two, they did make my experience with this one better. Season 1 especially I liked, Season 2 not so much. ??♀️
And honestly I was pleasantly surprised by the concept of the Midnight Cafe they introduced in the first one. It was whimsical ✨ and I think they managed to keep that in all of three seasons.
Overall I felt Son Ji Woo’s character fit Doyoung very well because he really is a worrier at heart and he does nag like a mom. It also made sense that SJW would need a sign to learn he could be selfish and a push to be confident. ?
So I honestly think this was an apt first role for him to do and I think he did a great job. ???
I also found the female lead super pretty and cute. Wasn’t expecting her reaction to *that* to be so adorable. ?
And let’s not forget Doyoung’s OST. Seriously, there isn’t any OST of his that I disliked because he always delivers and knows the assignment well.
PS: I couldn’t take the Seukka Seukka scene seriously at all, all I could hear was the NCT boys cracking up! ?

Doyoung Actor iktr
Let's be real... I watched this for Doyoung.Story:
Because I didn't watch the previous season, the story was quite confusing to me. However, the ending does end up explaining the whole episode as well as the purpose of it. Through the story we observe different life lessons and see how Ji-woo responds to them. After reading synopsis of the episode, the overall message and purpose of the story becomes clearer; the future is an inevitable event that can open the doors to any possibility, however, a change in the present can change the patterns of the future. And the cafe is an example of those changes that can better or worsen an outcome for an individual.
Acting/Cast:
For Doyoung's first drama, I believe he did a great job. I'm no acting coach or professional in this field, but his acting seemed more scripted than natural. But, that is completely normal, for I think his acting will come more naturally as long as he's offered more acting gigs. The other lead had a more natural vibe since she is a rookie actress and has featured in some projects. The supporting actors were also great. But, I don't know if it's just me, or did the mom's acting seem more scripted? ToT I'm not sure if it was because of the character being played or if that's her acting style.. ToT
Music:
Go stream Doyoung's OST !!
Overall:
Like I said, after reading more summaries of the plot, it became easier to understand. In addition, the more I began to understand, the more the message of the episode hits more. I got quite sad because this type of feeling can be relatable for many; sometimes holding onto the past or looking forward for the future too much. If you're into time travelling, mind bending dramas, this one is perfect. Since it is a short series, it may be easy for many to finish. Most importantly, if you're an NCTzen, this is definitely something to check out since many NCTzens have wanted to see it. And stan NCT !!

No point choosing to watch based on reviews, just try it, time well spent
The 3rd instalment was actually quite sad but at the same time beautiful in its own sense. The 3rd season extends the story of the 2nd season by exploring the stories of the background characters that appeared within season 2. The two school girls, the late school boy who came for one of the two school girls' notes and the high school boy on the bus who avoided eye contact with the FL of season 2. It was surprising to find that the timeline of seasons 2 and 3 are in fact intertwined within the same timeline and both stories are occurring at the same time. However in this season, we learn, that no matter how much one might want to change the past, the past will always be the past, but the future can be worked on. We were given the insight into the life of a troubled high school teen boy who struggles with his feelings for his high school female friend but only has thoughts for his mother due to her constant memory loss. It's a touching story of how things lost in the past, dreamed for the future can be found in the present.
Once again, every moment spent watching was punctual
