I absolutely love this drama and the whole cast especially my girl from Running Man. This was my first medical drama and it was awesome. I liked the plot and how the story developed. It gave the watchers an insight about the main lead past together. Wonderful story, cast, moral lessons and lets not forget those Hot KISSES!!!

I totally recommend this drama to anyone it was amusing, thoughtful, and good to watch.

Oh where to begin with this drama.
I feel the plot is kind of a cliche but written well, it can be great. And I honestly loved this drama. The actors were great, the progress was good, and overall probably one of my favorite Korean dramas.

I'll admit I only started watching this because of Song Ji Hyo. I haven't seen too much of her work and I'll also admit at times I did see "Running Man's Ace Mong Ji" from time to time during the drama. I feel it just can't be helped though.
I adored the chemistry between Song Ji Hyo and Choi Jin Hyuk. They fit together so perfectly in my opinion. Their cute scenes, fighting scenes, funny scenes etc were great to watch.

The supporting cast was great too. I can't remember all the names but I felt all the family members, interns, doctors and nurses were great. They had enough screen time to move the plot along and were just as important as the main leads. And can I just say the emotional scenes got me wiping the tears away. And that baby. He was so adorable!

One thing I do have to say is that I feel this drama could've been maybe a couple episodes shorter. Some things dragged just a little and I'm glad they didn't make it more than 21 episodes. Compared to others though, the plot being dragged on isn't as bad. Episodes moved by quickly so it honestly didn't feel like I watched 21 episodes.

Music was okay. Same background music and whatnot. Oh, I loved the sound effects that were always used. It just made things even funnier.

This is also one of the few times where I was happy with the ending. When the flashbacks of the drama and bloopers started playing, I sat in front of my laptop feeling satisfied. Wish there could be a special or something later on.

I would definitely watch this drama again and recommend it to anyone. It's a good drama to watch during down time.

At first I was planning to watch Emergency Couple only for the leads. In fact, I've had a soft spot for Choi Jin Hyuk since discovering him in I Need Romance and I wanted to see Song Jo Hyo play a happy/funny character. Plus no one can deny they do have some awesome chemistry together. And thankfully the drama didn't let me down. The two actors were great and the development/rediscovering of their love was perfectly handled when it could have been a total nonsensical mess.

Surprisingly, what I really cared about the most wasn't the main couple but EVERYONE. All the characters were important in my eyes *whispers* especially Kim Min Ki. That drama is more than "and they rekindled their romance". It's about accepting past mistakes (yours as well as others') confronting your fears and moving forwards (toward your very own happiness). It's about taking care of the people you love and understanding them.

You will laugh, you will shed a few tears (or buckets) and in the end, once the drama is finished, you will happily say goodbye to these 21 hours of well spent time. Because yes, maybe Emergency Couple is not a piece of art per say but it is the kind of drama that makes you feel good about life, that reminds you that whatever mistake you made in the past, it doesn't and shouldn't define you and if that you try hard, you can succeed in anything.

What drew me into this story was a recommendation from a friend who rarely points out any romantic dramas, so I was intrigued enough to check it out myself.

In story department, it was rather realistic and not off-putting by any means, I actually cared about every character in this story and not that much about the main relationship, because it was more of a background to everything that was going on in the story.

The cast is interesting, there's a lot of chemistry going on between Song Ji Hyo and Choi Jin Hye, and their scenes were quite funny, especially at the beginning of the drama. I think the character I was most concerned about was Kook Cheon Soo, because he seemed a lot like an average person lost in a giant white world and in himself at the same time; simply an individual who can't connect himself with others - more of a good book character that you grow fond of after awhile, rather than an actual drama character. I also loved Shim Ji Hye's character, she depicts a role model to look up to, and Lee Sung Min was classy as well.

There's a few songs from what I recall, and the usual dramatic tones of ER are there, so I have no complaints about it...but oh, Choi Jin Hyuk can sing quite well? It was an interesting input to a certain episode.

There's a solid rewatch value to this drama, maybe not for these 2-3 episodes that I found quite redundant and filler-like, but the entirety gives much to see even second time around.

Now, for the roundup, I'll admit I watched this in two days, and I think that tells a lot about just how indulging and interesting this drama turned out to be. I'm not usually hyped over hospital dramas or couples been-there-and-back, but the final overall of the drama made it so much more than a rekindled romance with a hospital as its back setting. I'm sure all other reviewers have noticed that as well, seeing as there's much of positive feedback this drama has received. There is, simply, so many aspects of life contained here to relate to.

I really enjoyed this drama. I've seen a few medical dramas, and I thought this was an excellent one. I liked the plot when I first read the synopsis, and generally, this was the same throughout the show but I thought the plot in the last 3-4 episodes was a bit slow. The side plots added really well to the show- but one of them was left unfinished, I felt.

All of the cast were excellent- I loved the chemistry between the leads, and I thought the secondary characters were great also. The cameo in episode 3 made me laugh SO MUCH :D

I really liked the music throughout the show- especially Choi Jin Hyuk's song :3

I'm giving it a re-watch value of six, only because I'm not likely to re-watch this drama, anytime soon.

Overall, I really liked this drama- it was definitely one of the best so far this year~!

Smartly written, terrific cast, realistic medical drama/comedy that I thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend. The four leads in this drama are first rate and you'll fall in love with them all. So sad when you come across a drama that touches as this one did when it has to end. I'll miss all my fiends in the ER.

Story: I liked the story. I thought it made some good points. The theme of don't give up on a relationship just because it's not easy was prominent throughout all of the drama. I really like stories that have this out look just because I feel like today too many people give up too easily on relationships like this. I think it's odd that at least two other dramas with similar plots came out at the same time. I wasn't particularly interested in the others though. They didn't look like they pulled off this plot as well to me.

Cast: I loved everyone. Sure the moms did get a bit over the top, but it's an Asian drama so that has to happen. Everyone did such a good job. I think everyone made their characters believable and natural.

Music: It was ok. It's nothing that I'm just have to buy.

Rewatch: I would watch this again for sure.

Overall: I enjoyed this start to finish. There was some dead space in some of the drama but not too bad. Warning: This is a medical drama so there is blood. I'm a bit of a pansy when it comes seeing operations being done in dramas, so I'd thought I'd share that with other people who feel the same. It's not very many scenes. I mean I made it through all 21 episodes. I did skip the operations, but that didn't really take away from the story.
*Side note: The opening scene where they're throwing and destroying things around the apartment was so good. It was probably one of my favorite parts in this drama. That's the first time I had seen something like that being used in a drama; besides the elevator scenes in Protect the Boss.

When i first started the drama i thought, what is this ? a Grey’s Anatomy rip off ? o.O But i was soo wrong. I was hooked immediately after the 1 episode and i was looking forward for the next episodes to come out.

I loved the way how Jin Hee was independ and strong. I didn't liked Chang Min in the beginning but i learnt to love him and i love him the most when he's jealous. :D

Chief Gook was soo great. I really liked him but the writers could have made the relationship with him and Jin Hee more romantic and deeper..

I was a little bit disapointed form the last episode. I don't know what it was but something was bothering me and i was a little bit bored..
The last ep was a bit draggy in my opinion.. but well, they made it up with the last scene. Such true words. :)

I loved this drama and enjoyed every seconde of it !

I recommend it !!

I am watching a drama after a long time so that may be the reason I am giving this a 9. Or I just happen to really like romance where the main guy gets jealous all the time. LOL. I put this drama on hold for over a year because it didn't impress me in the beginning. However when I picked it up again I found myself enjoying it. The story is cliche but it is alright if you are in the mood for something light.

The cast is quite likable. I felt like they all fit their roles really well and the characters weren't hard to like either. I really enjoyed the characters of Chief and the interns in the ER department. Although the main guy Oh Chang Min lacked depth, the humour made up for the lack of it. For me he was the main love interest just for the sake of it and Oh Jin Hee wasn't special either. I must say, though- having an attractive cast helps. Some of the side actors were so cute that every time they came on screen I welcomed their presence.

The best parts of the drama were the romantic scenes. I enjoyed those- especially the jealousy scenes. I also enjoyed the scenes between the Chief and Oh Jin Hee. They were so cute together and the Chief was all cool, manly, cute and all that. I would have given this drama a 10 if it weren't obvious who she would end up with. Plus I am prone to the second-lead syndrome, you know. Not always but some times.

I liked the OST but didn't love it. The medical aspects of the drama were cool but after a while I wasn't interested in their cases anymore.

Overall this drama has a good entertainment factor and watch it for some mindless fun. If you dislike immature characters, stay away from it as you might end up hating the main pair itself. But you might like the supporting characters so you may never know. :)

This drama was one that I had to force myself to continue. At times it was so slow that I just wanted to drop it, but for some reason I kept watching it anyway.

The story is nice, but I don't think it reached it's full potential. To me things just went too well, there was a point of climax in the drama that was whole-heartedly amazing. I did like how all the characters went through some development and all the other interns were marginalised and had their own small stories and problems.

This is one of the only dramas where I didn't cry at all nor did I feel any strong attatchments to any of the characters. I had no end-of-drama-withdrawal at all.

The acting was a bit too forced sometimes, the cast was wonderful, but there were some scenes that were just too forced. Especially with Chang Min's mother.

I loved the music, it went well. and listening to Jin Hyuk sing was really nice.

I think this drama could've been a lot better.

What makes me watch the drama initially is because I am a medical student so I have interest in medical dramas. However, I find this drama totally different from the other medical dramas I have watched such as Good Doctor and Medical Top Team.
Why do I say so? Usually medical dramas are focused on the medical stuffs and the management of the hospital. But for ER Couple, it shows not only these, but the relationships between the main casts - romance and friendship. This makes the drama awesome as they actually relate the medical parts into their relationships. For example, medical errors are commonly made, which implies in life which you will often meet many obstacles. You can get what I mean if you watch the very last part of the last episode - the part Jinhee narrates.
I really like how the drama shows how Jinhee managed to overcome her fear and to take the risk bravely in order to be with Changmin. She transformed from a little girl who is cowardly facing her relationships into a brave woman who is willing to have the courage in order to create her own happiness.
Another thing that I really love is actually the characters in this show, especially Chief Gook and Prof. Shim. Chief Gook shows the care towards Jinhee in a cold way and he does not even interfere her love life at all. Usually second male leads will just use any means to get the female lead, but well, not for Chief Gook! As for Prof. Shim, I was actually shocked by her character portrayed. At first I thought she is a common second female lead who likes one of the male leads and well, the love rectangle happens. But it doesn't seem to be that case for her. Even though the viewers can see that she still loves Chief Gook, but she doesn't show out those kind of jealousy and instead, she helps him out a lot by telling him to be more brave and confess to Jinhee. I really admire this kind of women because they are truly good friends.
I also like how they show the progress of Changmin's mother to Jinhee, from hatred to neutral, like how she realised that controlling her son's life doesn't make him even happy at all.
Also, I really love Jin Ae and Kwangsoo and Baby Gook! They do make this drama merrier.
I believe that this drama has a moral value behind it - to tell us to believe in miracles and believe in ourselves no matter what. Because every decision we have made for our life depends on whether we believe in oneself and our family to make our decisions unregrettable. (:
