I really enjoyed this story. When I read the synopsis, I sort of thought this was going to be one of those terrible over-the-top comedic asian dramas that I can't stand. DON'T LET THE SYNOPSIS SCARE YOU. This Punch Lady is literally going to fight her abusive husband and there is nothing funny about the turmoil she is going through. Not to say that there is no comedic relief, but the main character is a battered woman, not merely a disgruntled one.
The acting was good, no particularly huge stand out performances, but everything was watchable. I definitely felt what the characters were suppose to feel. I laughed, I cried, I liked it. However, don't look for total groundbreaking.
Music- did its job, nothing memorable to me but nothing obnoxious either.
Definitely would see this again with a friend who liked it or hasn't seen it. I might watch it on my own, but most likely not. But such an experience would not be unenjoyable XD
Overall, if you haven't seen it, watch it. It's not a 20 episode long drama, just a movie. You have no excuse.

firstly i was really annoyed with the daughter because instead of supporting her mum she just shouted at her and she really needed to learn some respect.
then i hated the way they added humor to a movie that is supposed to be about serious issues that should not even be considered funny in any way but i do understand that they wanted to add some happiness into it so it wouldnt be depressing.
the main character is what made me almost give up on the movie as she was so weak and had absolutely no confidence in herself even after undergoing all the training. thankfully her attitude did improve towards the end.
overall this movie was ok but not one i would watch again.

If you like action movies, definitely watch this. A little over two hours but I think it was worth it. Now to go find someone I can beat up, lol.

I thought the acting was good except for maybe the female lead, since I sometimes thought she exaggerated many of her feelings and trembling. On the other hand I was surprised to see Sulli in the role of the aggressive, rebel, teenager daughter. Yes, I completely compared her acting with her latest performance in To The Beautiful You, which was not equally imposing...
I didn't even notice the music until the very ending scene so I don't think it made such a bif impression on me either, I even had to go back and see if there was any...
I'm just happy that the topic domestic violence is handled in a movie and you get to see a different solution to the problem than the infinite trials and negotiations with lawyers that someone, who has already suffered for years, has to go through.
This movie gave me a bit of hope...

Not a comedy
This is a movie about domestic abuse and what happens when the wife has enough. I wish there was more depth to the characters but overall was good. I came into with different expectations spans was unprepared for the serious subject matter. I needed up watching the whole thing just to see how it ended. It’s a bit like the JLo movie Enough but with less backstory and depth. It would have been nice if more attention was placed on the fact that she was abused rather than glossing over it a bit. Still I’m impressed that a story about domestic violence made it to film considering its Asia.I normally don’t redo reviews but I would have liked to have known it was not a comedy.
