I really loved this drama. Plot-wise, I found it really interesting. I haven't watched the other versions of this except the 2003 version and couldn't stand its low quality so this one is the best version for me. I think any drama watchers who love the wuxia genre would like this drama. My favourite part about this drama is the unwavering loyalty and friendship portrayed between the three sworn brothers.

The cast was great- I love Kibum (partially biased here because I like him (E.L.F/ Suju stan here), Wallace was great too (It was my first time watching his drama so I thought he did great. I can safely say he's quite a good actor after checking out his other dramas as well).

The music wasn't too memorable but I remembered liking one or two songs.

Rewatch value is pretty high because its a great drama to rewatch after not remembering some parts.

Great storyline with big pay-offs for patient viewers

This is now my fourth Jin Yong drama. I really enjoyed the plot of the series (which seems faithful to the novels). There’s a lot of twists and turns, as you often get in Jin Yong’s stories. Sometimes there’s so many threads, you wonder how they’re going to tie it all together, but it works! At around episode 40, expect a lot of !!! reactions. I found the storylines around Xiao Feng and Murong Fu especially compelling and tragic, with issues of conflicted identities and difficult legacies to bear.

The production value was ok, as was the dated CGI. The music is catchy but repetitive. The lovely theme song was actually covered by the movie Yin Yang Master! I enjoyed the cast: Zong Fen Yan is good in everything he does. Wallace Chung and Lemon Zhang were great choices for their respective roles.

I recommend the show if you’re a Jin Yong and wuxia fan!

I have rewatch this show about 5 times since it release till now, i watched the other older version but this version is my favourite version. To me, their costumes are really good, much much better than all the other versions. Most of the cast fit their role and act really well. For the 03 and 97 version, i feel like almost all of the supporting cast are terrible and everyone's costume including ML's looks so plain, so simple and ugly. this version, all of their clothing are unique, pretty, sensible, I really like xiao feng's clothing for both beggers clothes and prince clothes. For 2021 version, everything's terrible. I honestly couldnt even watch the older verison, i seriously had to keep skipping parts but in the end i still got so bored. This 2013 Verison is the only version i had watch without skipping any parts or got so bored that i would fell asleep.
