Hikari works at a book store. He is a kind person, but his kindness often makes him look pathetic. Hikari hopes to become a manga writer. At night he sprays mysterious flyers "Debikuro Communication". One day, he meets someone via fate. Anna has been Hikari’s friend since they were children. So-Young, who is a world famous lighting designer, happens to know Hikari. Kitayama graduated from the same university as Hikari. Kitayama is also a popular manga writer. The love lives of these four people makes a miracle at Christmas night. ~~ Adapted from the novel "Debikuro kun no Koi to Mahou" (デビクロくんの恋と魔法) by Nakamura Ko (中村航). Edit Translation

This movie isn't as cliché or predictable as one would think... certainly I didn't think so! I went in to this movie expecting a completely different outcome! However, the entire movie is really sweet without being too heavy on Christmas and has just enough romance to be in that genre; it's more slice-of-life romance, I think. Ikuta Toma and Aiba Masaki were really great in this (they both played characters that seemed different than their usual), but I would have liked to see them interact more, but that's just my personal preference since I really like the way they both act. This is a really good movie, sweet and silly without being too tragic of a love story. I really hope more people will watch this story!
