The intensity of emotions in Obsessed reminds me of Secret Love Affair. Both deal with infidelity and marriage. However, Obsessed is mature with explicit scenes, and Secret Love Affair also has a large age gap. Both have flawed characters who ultimately become subject to their own choices.
Both movies have the same kind of 0 to 100 mph intensely passionate romance, though it starts more slowly/awkwardly in the Intimate Lover. Both deal with infidelity and have mature scenes, but Obsessed has more artfully done ones. These are good movies for watching couples deal with sudden, overwhelming attachment to one another.

The story will focus on a love triangle between the three leads. Eikura plays the role of Morimoto Naoko, a girl from the countryside whose first love is her uncle, Ikezawa Masato.
