With his arms around her, Feng Teng teaches Shan Shan how to fish, telling her that everyone needs to know she’s in charge of this pond. Witnessing this, Li Shu is unhappy, and Feng Yue becomes aware of Li Shu's unfriendliness towards Shan Shan. Li Shu also feels that Shan Shan is being hypocritical, having previously told her that she didn’t like Feng Teng. Feng Yue uses the opportunity to ask Li Shu if she likes her brother. Li Shu responds that she never stopped liking him but that her mother disapproved of Li Shu and Feng Teng being together because she was worried that others would think Li Shu was just trying to marry into riches. After their chat, Li Shu asks Feng Yue to keep her feelings a secret. (Source: Viu)

Not good enough???!!!

Why does everyone keep saying she’s not good enough for him? Even she keeps thinking that to herself. I get family members only want the best for their loved ones but it’s really bothering me how much this keeps getting hammered about. It seems he’s the only one who at least knows her worth as a human being. He likes her because she’s her, even if he keeps making her jump through hoops to be together with him. I think he must know on some level how much in denial she was even to her own self about liking him enough to want to try and be together so he pushed super hard for her to confess. I hope this doesn’t end up being a running theme through out their whole romantic journey. If so it may get old hearing how much she is “unworthy” of him. He’s not the most ideal type either with how cold he is and indifferent towards others. IMO did they ever think he just may not be good enough for her who seems super naive and innocent but enjoys life to the absolute fullest!! I’m not sold on them being a couple if this is going to keep being what everyone focuses on. The only saving grace is how he is towards her and how much he finds her cute and adorable just the way she is.

Big Boss! You gave me whiplash!

Holly drama Feng Teng gave me whiplash from that mood swing. It's crazy he played so hard to get. After all everything he did pushed her to make the moves on him, like he wanted. (Well confession.) Yet he played hard to get whenever she asked if HE liked her. Even though he already kissed her, did that whole thing at the fish pond (I will never look at fishing the same way again), and then . . . . everything! At least Shan Shan was brave enough to be like enough, look this is when I officially liked you and I have 0 dating experience. Now are you gonna man up or not! Respect.

Maybe this will be the turning point of the show for me. Because—BOOM—suddenly he was warm and sunny. Which had bothered me early when he was conversing and interacting with Li Shu. I guess he was afraid that he needed to 100% know that Shan Shan was in. So he liked her when she was silly, but the New Years fireworks sealed it. Hmmm.

Oh, and there's kissing. It's not the best ever, but it's way better than most dramas ever offer. Considering Shan Shan actually mildly participates and isn't totally shy/ashamed afterwards. This leads me to believe the kisses will stay tolerable, or—dare I hope—passionate?

Look like everyone knows about Li Shu's true feelings for Feng Teng. Even Feng Teng knows and that is a turn in the right direction for me!

This could be the turning point I've been dying for! >_< Finally. Now excuse me while I go and find out how Shan Shan is going to answer her aunt about having a boyfriend or not. ^_-
