I really liked this drama, because of the acting. Shun and Hiroki are a set of awesome actors! I really expected it to be like a Dr. Dolittle where he is litterally talking to the animals, but it wasnt like that at all. This is a really sweet story about a man who really cold on the outside but soft on the inside, how that man really cares for animals but not so much for people. Shun did such a great job!!

This is a rather serious drama, with animal surgery and a lot of animal topics that I didnt even know exsisted. Not much comedy, and a slight ( and I mean slight) bit of unrequited romance/ longing. Some of the major themes were: the little man fighting the big company, taking responsibility for your own life, compassion, and fighting your fears. I didnt like the ending because I wanted some people to get together (but oh well).

This drama was unexpectedly good for several reasons which I myself cannot believe when I have finally finished the series.

Back in 2012 I initially chose this drama due to Inoue Mao just because she's my bias but after watching the first episode, I felt disappointed because I can't seem to appreciate it for what it is-a typical Renzoku drama that depicts human life and the love for animals. I was not able to enjoy the series for two major reasons: It wasn't a Rom- com and I had no Pet , adding to this was the fact that I wasn't really that attached with animals.

Then 2013 came and I happen to be in costudy of a cross breed pit bull/american bull dog. That's when I attempted to watch the drama again and finally changed my opinion about it.

The thing I liked most about this show was the main characters. Oguri Shun as Dr. Totori was kind of awesome. He may have that rotten-eccentric personality, but he is the best vet in the story and on top of that he has so much insight as a person. Inoue Mao's character in here was sort of a dumb novice who was too kind and too emotional. Although her character is like this, I still admired her naivety to people's true intentions and compassion to animals. Then there is Hiroki Narimiya as the charismatic vet who could not perform a surgery even if his life depended on it due to a previous trauma. His character adds color to the two main characters. I thought he was the antagonist in the story but I was wrong. There is a good history between his character and Oguri Shun's.

Music wise it wasn't really that memorable, but it has that slight nostalgia in me whenever I hear the sound track. It sort of reminds me of peaceful moments or happy beginnings.

I may not re-watch this show again but I am definitely recommending it to animal lovers of all sorts.

This show is so heartwarming, and I am not just saying this as an animal lover. It shows very much how different living creatures all entwine their lives, man and beast alike, and how much of an effect it has on us. The actors were excellent and the storyline beautifully put together. I liked how everything tied up but not really at the end, as it felt like the ending to a day as opposed to a "drama."

I will say that this can be a bit heavy for an "everyday" kind of watch, and I needed to be in the mood to sit down and get involved in something to watch it. It has a lot of really fascinating technical aspects to the veterinary work, as well as a lot of political overtones. While I do think that some of the political agenda in it could be tempered a little bit with comments about how best to care for both man and beast, I certainly did not disagree with them. It gives a lot to think about it, a lot of cute furry critters, and a lot of fun moments between the three leads. I would definitely recommend this show.

I began watching this drama for two special (people) reasons!

1.) Oguri Shun
2.) Narimiya Hiroki

These two men are my absolute favorite actors; they completely immerse themselves in to their characters and play them out superbly! It was good to see Narimiya Hiroki in a different light than I usually do; as Hanabishi Masaru he plays a very charismatic-troubled-caring vet who throughout the show the viewers get to watch grow as a vet and a person. The same goes for Oguri Shun's character, Tottori Kenichi; yes he is a foul-mouthed vet, but as his skills go, they're perfect. I can't help but feel that Tottori and Hanabishi balanced each other out perfectly throughout this entire show without being too sappy, dramatic, or drastic. Oguri Shun and Narimiya Hiroki were a fantastic pair to be the lead actors for this show because they both have such different characteristics, personalities, and unique qualities that lead them to be the talented actor and human being that they are. Although I watched this drama because I'm their fan, that isn't the specific reason I watched (just the biased reason).....

I watched this drama because I like animals, I like to learn what's going on as I watch, and I like the hospital/medical type genre as well; just to name a few! This show is gut wrenching, heart breaking, surprising, terrifying, uplifting, sweet, kind, and sometimes I even got angry and ridiculously scared. I seriously recommend watching this with a box of tissues and steeled nerves! This show is fantastic, the music is wonderful, the script is amazingly written; there isn't a dull moment in the entire show!

History

Today it is difficult to meet a person who is not attracted by the exciting and captivating world of cinema. The love of watching movies can be successfully used to teach and improve the English language. It often happens that after a movie show there is a desire to express your emotions from watching, to share with someone your impressions of the action seen on the screen. A film can be delightful or frustrating, addictive or hopelessly boring. You can express your overwhelming emotions with the help of a written review of the motion picture.
First I see this in a
