I don’t want people to think I don’t like the all-out romance plots of lakorns - I do! - but somehow the phrase “pleasantly surprised” pops up for this lakorn. I guess that because I’d seen the modern remake and enjoyed it, I thought this earlier one wouldn’t be very good.

Instead, I really felt the leads had more attraction to each other than in the remake. Be warned, it is a culturally-older-styled lakorn - lots of shooting and screaching second lead females along with a less than believable child actor - but the show worked. I guess I would split the appeal of the show between the cast and the writing.

Yea for Shirtless Pong - he was underdressed quite a lot! - and yea for the writers. The writers couldn’t maintain a totally believable storyline all the way through but there were some great scenes that were written as though real human beings were speaking, not actors. That, for me, is the mark of a good script.

The character or second lead actors really shone as well. While Por (Pong)’s sister Putt was crazy from the get-go, her motivations weren’t so complicated that you couldn’t understand her. Also, The ups and down of Kaew’s and Por’s love story ran the gamut from lovely romance to harsh realities. Even the second couple (I’d say this was Kong and Pe) and the third couple (Kaew’s friend and her co-worker/boss) had some very realistic moments.

The music really fit the show and I thought the whole series was re-watchable to boot.

"What`s going to happen.What will happen tomorrow,Por?"

"Tomorrow,I`ll be loving you Kaew.We will get through this together"

-Por and Kaew

"Proong Nee Gor Ruk Ter" (which means:"Tomorrow, I’ll Still Love You") is about the college-sweethearts Poramin and Kaewkanya who have a bright future ahead of them, with plans of marriage and babies.Sadly, they never saw the tragedy coming...a murder that would tear both of them apart.Aom Piyada is such a expressive actress with a great beauty and talent.I love all her lakhorns, and loved watching her express Kaew`s torment and misery in having to abandon Por,for the sins his older sister done to her own sister.Pong Nawat`s character Por who from the start was the smitten and devoted lover of Kaew`s,but turns into a cold cynical tycoon after she breaks up with him. After being apart from each other for 6 years many things have changed, but not the everlasting love they have for each other.

"No!I don`t believe you!I refuse to believe that you don`t love me anymore!...Tonight i will be waiting at the boat. The same boat where i asked you to marry me...i will wait for you all night.I will wait until you come." -Por

I just loved watching the interactions between Kaew`s family, they were a lot of fun, especially the relatives Jee and Thoom.Kaew`s younger brother himself have a blossoming romance with his patient, the dynamic racer Pee..who it turns out is the brother of their enemy. It was bitter-sweet watching the longing between Por and Kaew after they reunite, and he becomes her boss and literally orders her around like a slave.Their hate-love relationship was so entertaining and romantic, and i have to say that Pong and Aom have one of the BEST on-screen chemistrys ever!Every scene with them, and the way Pong looked at her just made me sigh with happiness!
This is a lakhorn from 2009,so expect lots of crazyness,screaming,slaps,suicide,murder,jealousy...and there is never a thing our main-leads doesn`t get through...their bond only grew stronger. But even so,this lakhorn took the over the top-ness to a whole another level.I enjoyed it anyway!

"For the past six years i threw everything away.I tried to run as far away as possible, thinking that i could forget you.But i couldn`t Kaew. The further i am away from you...the more i miss you.I know that me being here..has put you through hell. But i am sorry Kaew.I just can`t leave you." -Por

rape is not romance

That did not belong there. I still don't understand why the writer was so moved to escalate blind-jealously to rape. It did little but create a 'what the hell', 'no they didn't', 'wait - what?' moment. Because, the scene ends in a consensual second pairing. There is so much going on in this series that that one moment negates one of the craziest second female leads. An off-the-rails mystery - Complete with redemption and revenge plots, you will shake your head at. On the writer, shame on you. Rape is not romance, and doesn't belong in the romance genre. Avoid.
