Ask MDL: And Now For Something Different "The Memory" is a warm love story between Film, a superstar who has lost his memory and Jaa, a paparazzi photographer who follows him, snapping shots of Film to sell to the magazines. They meet up somewhere in the North of Thailand, surrounded by the Thai jungle, hill tribes people and romantic scenery. The enemies end up falling in love...until Film gets his memory back....After this, he is unable to recognize the girl he met in the North. Supporting casts were amazingly good and gave the right amount of humor on supposed-to-be-funny scenes.
But above all, what I really love in this film, is the impressive cinematography; breath-taking scenery and even the special effects were awesomely done!
The only reason I'm not giving this a rating higher than 7 is because of the too-obvious story plot which is commonly seen in most romantic-comedy films.
Nevertheless, I would encourage you to see this film - just for the laughs (ok, some sweet scenes) & beautiful cinematography.
