Film lovers, rejoice! The third installment of Skye's three featured movies is here! For those of you, who have not seen my last two articles here they are: Week 1 and Week 2
So now let's move on to this week's picks!

Japanese Movie: Be a Man! Samurai School
Otokojuku is a private boys school where true men are made. First year students quickly indoctrinated into the school's idea of what it takes to be a real man by Drill Master Onihige's constant berating. Momotaro, proficient in both academics and martial arts becomes friends with an underachieving weakling named Hidemaro. Together, they survive their Otokojuku days and become close with their classmates. Omito Date, former leader of the first-year students, plans his revenge against his former school. He is now leader of an evil army from rival Kanto Gogakuren school and fully intends on taking over Otokojuku. The Otokojuku principle, Heihachi Edajima, will not allow personal vendettas on school grounds, so the battle has to be taken elsewhere.
Genre: Action, Friendship, Comedy Year: 2012

Chinese Movie: Red Cliff 1 + Red Cliff 2
It's A.D. 208 China. Rival states Shu and Wu join hands against their common enemy, the evil and ambitious General Cao Cao of the Wei kingdom, but are seriously outnumbered by his million-strong army. But with the charismatic leadership of Gen. Zhou Yu (Tony Leung), the perfect strategy of scholar Zhuge Liang (Takeshi Kaneshiro), and the support of emperor Sun Quan (Chen Chang), they manage to declare a small victory. While Cao Cao scoffs at this as no big deal, it adds fuel to his fury.
Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama Year: 2008
Skye's Note: The reason why I added both Red Cliff 1 and Red Cliff 2 is that you have to watch both of them, otherwise the movie will be incomplete. Make sure to watch both, and not the Western edition which cut out around 2 hours of the movie (and instead made it just into a 3 hour long movie).
For those of you who have seen these films, what do you think? I personally loved all of them!
