Although my favorite genres do not include historical or medical, I WILL be watching this. It has some of my favorite actors and actresses and I can’t pass up a chance to watch them in action.

Sung Hoon (Kim Woo Bin), the son of Dong Su (not in the sequel), meets Jeong Suk (Yoo Oh Sung) in prison and is involved in a series of incidents. There really wasn't that much information on the continued plot.
I haven’t seen the first one, but this really makes me want to. I wonder if I can find it with English Subs. It was said that Lee Min Ho turned down Kim Woo Bin’s character. I think that is a good thing, because I think Kim Woo Bin as Jang Dong Gun’s son is more believable.

Monstar will be a series that will feature a mix of music from all eras and follow the lives of the youth chasing their dreams of music, love, and friendship. Yoon Sul Chan (Junhyung) is the lead singer of a top idol group called Men in Black (BTOB’s Minhyuk, Changseob, Hyunsik and Sungjae are in the band also). He carries a deep emotional scar and has a temper which causes an incident that forces him back to high school. Min Se Yi (Ha Yeon Su) is a new Korean high school student from New Zealand. She feels happiest when she sings and is paired with Yoon Sul Chan. She joins his band and becomes involved in his life.
It sounds like a cross between Shut Up Flower Boy Band and Dream High. I’m all in especially if it has good music. I also like the dramas in which the director and writer have participated.
At the End of the World
Yoon Je Moon (Iris, Iris 2, King2Hearts) will star in JTBC’s At the End of the World which will start airing March 16. The director is Ahn Pan Seok who also directed White Tower which is a highly regarded medical drama. The screen writer is Hye Ryun who based it on a Korean novel called “Infectious Disease” by Bae Young Ik that was published in 2010.
Kang Jo Hun, formerly an officer in the military police, is the chief of epidemiological investigation at the Korean Center for Disease Control and Prevention. He loses his love to a new virus and leads the investigation once the epidemic breaks out.
Seems interesting. The Virus and now this makes me hope this isn't the start of a lot of dooms day dramas. You remember not too long ago how there were a ridiculous amount of time shift dramas. I really like Yoon Je Moon though, so I will probably end up watching it at some point especially since for once he is the lead actor.
So there is the update on upcoming dramas and movies. Are there any that you are interested in seeing?
