Famous classic drama It Started with a Kiss to be Remade!!
If any of you are anime fans, you have probably heard of the currently airing anime Ore Monogatari!! (My Love Story!!). It has just been announced that there will be a live action film adaptation.
Plot:
Takeo Goda is a giant guy with a giant heart. Too bad the girls don't
want him! (They want his good-looking best friend, Sunakawa.) Used to
being on the sidelines, Takeo simply stands tall and accepts his fate.
But one day when he saves a girl named Yamato from a harasser on the
train, his (love!) life suddenly takes an incredible turn!
Cast:
Takeo Goda is being played by Ryohei Suzuki (Gatchaman). Suzuki is working quite hard for this role as he is aiming to gain 60 pounds (~30 kilograms) in order to fit his role better. Takeo Goda (the character he is playing) is 2 meters tall ( 6ft 6 inches.) and about 260 pounds (120 kilograms).
Makoto Sunakawa (Takeo's childhood friend) is being played by Kentaro Sakaguchi (Heroine Disqualified)
Takeo's love interest Rinko Yamato is being played by Mei Nagano.
The project is being directed by Hayato Kawai, and the script has been written by Akko Nogi. The film is expected to hit theaters on October 31.
In regards to the anime, if you haven't seen it yet, I would highly recommend watching it.
It's different from most shoujos and it's a nice change. :D
