Ahn Bo Hyun and Lee Joo Bin will reportedly be the next K-drama couple from tvN.
On October 16, media outlet OSEN released an exclusive report revealing that Ahn Bo Hyun and Lee Joo Bin have been picked to lead the upcoming K-drama Spring Fever which will be directed by Park Won Gook.
According to the media outlet, Ahn Bo Hyun and Lee Joo Bin have already received the proposal and are currently reviewing it.
Spring Fever will base its story on the web novel by the same name, Baek Min Ah. It will depict the story of a woman named Yun Bom who moves to a new place after getting emotionally hurt. She decided to start a new life as an exchange teacher with a cold personality. After meeting Sun Jae Gyu, she began to open up once again.
Ahn Bo Hyun has been offered the role of Sun Jae Gyu, the CEO of JK Power Energy. Known for his muscular build and visible tattoos, Sun Jae Gyu exudes a tough appearance. Despite his intimidating looks, he is a kind and considerate individual with a warm heart.
Lee Joo Bin on the other hand got the offer to play the role of Yun Bom, an exchange teacher. She decided to move from Seoul to get away from the pain she experienced in the city. She finally opens up again after meeting Sun Jae Gyu.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Park Won Gook. The director is known for creating the series Marry My Husband, Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist, Special Labor Inspector Jo, and more.
Spring Fever will reportedly premiere on tvN. It will reportedly begin filming in 2025.
This will possibly be the fourth upcoming K-drama of Ahn Bo Hyun. The actor will also lead the upcoming series God’s Beads, Haesi's Shinru, and Flex X Cop Season 2. He is also set to star in the upcoming movie Pretty Crazy with Im Yoon Ah, Sung Dong Il, Joo Hyun Young, and Go Geon Han.
If Lee Joo Bin confirms her casting, this will also be her fourth upcoming K-drama. The actress is also set to join the cast of the upcoming K-dramas Divorce Insurance, Twelve, and Guardians. This year, Lee Joo Bin became more known after starring in the hit tvN K-drama Queen of Tears.
