Bae Doo Na in talks to reunite with "A Girl At My Door" director on new movie

Bae Doo Na will reportedly work in another movie by famed director July Jung.

Media outlet Spotify News stated on January 5th that Bae Doo Na is in discussion to star in the upcoming movie "The Next Sohee" which will be directed by July Jung. 

Bae Doo Na and director July Jung had already worked together before. Bae Doo Na was the main lead of the 2014 movie "A Girl at My Door" which July Jung wrote and directed. This movie gave recognition to the director and even received awards at the 25th Stockholm International Film Festival and the Baeksang Arts Awards. The upcoming movie "The Next Sohee" will reportedly be their reunion after eight years. 

"The Next Sohee" will also be director July Jung's comeback to directing.

Meanwhile, Bae Doo Na's agency has not responded to the reports yet. 

There are still no details about the upcoming movie "The Next Sohee" such as its plot, release date, cast members, and more. 

Many are already anticipating the possible reunion of Bae Doo Na with the director, as fans are excited about the chemistry of the two in another film. 

If Bae Doo Na confirms her casting for "The Next Sohee," this will be her third upcoming film. The actress is set to star in the films "Virus" and "Broker." She was also part of the recently released Netflix original series "The Silent Sea" with Gong Yoo, MBLAQ's Lee Joon, Kim Sun Young, Lee Moo Saeng, Lee Sung Wook, and more.

Many are also hopeful that Bae Doo Na will still be part of the possible new season of the hit Netflix original series "Kingdom."

Bae Doo Na has starred in several movies such as "The Drug King," "Tunnel," "As One," "Air Doll," "The Host," "Linda Linda Linda," "Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance," and "The Ring Virus."
