Bae Doo Na and director July Jung are confirmed to reunite with "The Next Sohee" movie.
On January 17th, producer Twin Plus Partners revealed through the media that Bae Doo Na has confirmed her casting to director July Jung's new film "The Next Sohee." They also shared that the production has already begun filming.
"The Next Sohee" will revolve around a high school girl named SoHee who has to go on field training to a call center and a female detective named Eugene who has suspicions about her.
Bae Doo Na will play the role of Eugene. There are no reports yet on who will play the role of Sohee.
This movie will be the reunion of Bae Doo Na and director July Jung after eight years. The two previously worked together in the award-winning film "A Girl at My Door." This movie gave recognition to the director and even received awards at the 25th Stockholm International Film Festival and the Baeksang Arts Awards.
"The Next Sohee" has begun filming on January 16, 2022. The premiere date of the movie is still undecided.
Bae Doo Na previously starred in the Netflix original series "The Silent Sea" with Gong Yoo, MBLAQ's Lee Joon, Kim Sun Young, Lee Moo Saeng, and Lee Sung Wook. This movie will be one of Bae Doo Na's upcoming films. Aside from "The Next Sohee," she will also be in the upcoming movies "Virus" and "Broker."
It is also expected that Bae Doo Na will be part of the new season of the hit zombie series "Kingdom."
