Bona's New K-Drama "Pyramid Game" Confirms Release Date

The TVING original series Pyramid Game has confirmed its release date for February 29 and released a teaser poster. 

Pyramid Game depicts a cruel survival game in which the students are divided into perpetrators, victims, and bystanders in class 5 of Baekyeon Girls' High School by secret ballot. The votes, which decide who will be outcasts, happen once a month.

Based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name, the series stars Bona, Jang Da A, Ryu Da In, Kang Na Eon, Jung Ha Dam, and Shin Seul Ki. It is set in a radical scenario and is expected to deliver catharsis through the intense psychological battles of the students.  

In the poster, Sung Su Ji (Bona), a transfer student, is shown standing alone in an empty classroom.

 The class motto, "Everyone's Happiness, Everyone's Class," juxtaposed with "There is a vote for bullying in our class," raises curiosity about the hidden secret of Baekyeon Girls' High School Class 5 of Grade 2. The red triangle encloses Sung Su Ji, seemingly indicating the target of the Pyramid Game.

In the drama, Sung Su Ji is confronted with the brutal Pyramid Game, where she must make cruel choices to avoid becoming the victim of bullying. In this unpredictable game where anyone can be a perpetrator, victim, or bystander, what choices will Sung Su Ji make?

Like a beam of light illuminating the dark classroom, Sung Su Ji piques curiosity about whether she can survive and bring change in the fierce hierarchy war of Grade 2 Class 5.

The production team of Pyramid Game stated, "When Sung Su Ji transfers to Grade 2 Class 5 of Baekyeon Girls' High School, the class hierarchy pyramid is reshaped. A fierce hierarchy war and psychological battle that unfolds in her classroom, which is like a microcosm of society, will unfold interestingly."

Pyramid Game will premiere on on February 29.
