“Buppesunnivas 2 The Movie' scheduled for a 2021 premier

“Buppesunnivas 2 The Movie” held its opening ceremony today and is slated for a 2021 release

Buppesunnivas 2 the movie follows on the massive success of the 2018 hit Bhuppae Sunniwat (AKA Love Destiny.)

Love Destiny is a time-travel romance between a modern day Kadesurang (Bella Campen) who travels 300 years back in time to Ayutthaya following a car accident. There she wakes up in the body of Mae Karakade, an evil noble woman who lives with her fiancé’s family. Most cannot stand her due to her wicked behaviour and vile misdeeds including her betrothed Por Date (Pope Thanawat Wattanaputi), adamant in not marrying such a despicable woman. There Kadesurang practices Dharma to attenuate Karakade's Karma positively surprising everyone with her actions, behaviour and knowledge. Kade, aka the new Karakade, slowly wins the respect, admiration, and love of everyone including her 'fiancé'.

Directed by Ping Adisorn, the movie is expected to air late this year. It will focus on the next lives of Karakade and Por Date in the early Rattanakosin period, with Bella & Pope reprising their roles. The movie marks their 4th collaboration in the space of 3 years: Love Destiny (2018), Roy Leh Marnya (2020), Buppesunnivas 2 The Movie(upcoming 2021) & Love Destiny's sequel: Prom Likit (upcoming).

Today February 1st, 2021, the movie held its opening ceremony at GDH Five-Nine Company Limited with both leads in attendance as well as newly-casted Thai stars Kik Suwatjanee, Pokkie Pawenuch, Non Chanon & Ice Paris.

Buppe Sunniwat 2 opening ceremony was presided by by Gina Osotsilp, Chief Executive Officer of GDH Five-Nine Company Limited and Arun Chapanupan, Managing Director of Broadcast Thai Television Co., Ltd.. Also present was the director Ping-Adisorn Trisirikasem.
