A: It felt amazing when I first heard the news about ranking 1st on the global chart. As time passed, I realized that the drama received love and empathy worldwide, which made me extremely happy. I thought about each and every staff member and actor who worked hard together, and I felt grateful for being able to act as Oh Min Hye in such a meaningful and good production.

Q: Why did you decide to join Celebrity?

A: I found it incredibly enjoyable when I first read the script. I couldn't stop reading and finished it all in one sitting. It delves into the world of influencers, which is an integral part of our lives, and I was intrigued by the fact that although the story revolves around social media, it can openly depict human instincts, desires, and urges refreshingly and straightforwardly. I also thought it would be a very interesting drama from the viewers' perspective.

Q: How was your first impression of Oh Min Hye?

A: I thought, "I can do this well," "I want to do it." Oh Min Hye is a smart and ambitious person who has built herself up based on her feelings of inferiority. She believes it is not wrong to differentiate and discriminate among people for her goals. I felt that her attitude, which takes her current achievements for granted, was similar to how I was in my twenties. On the other hand, she possesses qualities I lack, such as being broad-minded and meticulous, making her more appealing.

Q: What are the fashion points for Oh Min Hye?

A: Min-hye wants to appeal as someone loyal, loved by a caring husband, and has a successful brand. She successfully creates that image for herself. So, I thought her exterior would resemble something lovely like pink, but internally, she would have a darker side closer to burgundy, representing the extinguished fire within her. That's why I decided on burgundy hair color, and for the main styling, I aimed for a lovely look with intense and vivid colors. I tried various styling approaches within that concept.

Q: What would it be if you had to prioritize a specific aspect while portraying the character Oh Min Hye?

A: In the beginning, I focused on shedding certain aspects. Oh Min Hye's tone of speech and expressions reflect the attitude of someone who no longer feels inferior due to her past and takes her current accomplishments for granted. She doesn't hesitate to dismiss others without feeling guilty, believing it is not wrong to discriminate among people for her goals. However, in front of the camera, I made sure to differentiate her tone to appear lovable, which required me to switch between these two tones.

Q: Were there any scenes where you thought, "Even for me, this is too much"?

A: In Episode 12, Oh Min Hye's attitude and thoughts toward Han Yoo Rang... It depicted her character until the very end. She only thinks about herself, luxury, and money. I remember the staff members saying, "She's going all the way with this."

Q: You spent much time with the director to complete the character. How was that experience?

A: I am just extremely grateful. The director conveyed what Oh Min Hye needed to do in the drama. As one of the most crucial characters driving the story initially, Oh Min Hye had to display a wide range of emotions. Therefore, the tone and acting were crucial, and the director emphasized that I had to do it well. We had numerous readings together to capture that tone, and I even filmed and sent videos for feedback. The director provided clear guidance on making the tone lighter or heavier, allowing me to complete Oh Min Hye. I am filled with gratitude.

Q: How was the filming experience with the other actors?

A: I enjoyed filming with all the actors because they responded well to my reactions. I am especially grateful to actors Jung Wook Jin, who played the role of the husband, and Jung Yoo Min, who played the role of Yoo Rang. They accommodated Min-hye's constant anger, irritability, and dismissive behavior, which is not easy to accept, so I acted more comfortably and enjoyably. I am sincerely grateful to these actors.

Q: If there is a character you would like to challenge in the future, what kind of character would it be?

A: In the future, I would like to portray characters who are lovely but have their own distinct color or try romantic comedies. I also want to play even worse and more evil characters than Oh Min Hye.
