Cho Byeong Kyu is set to star in the upcoming film "Even If I Die Once Again"
On September 14th it was confirmed that Cho Byeong Kyu will be the main lead for the upcoming film "Even If I Die Once Again." The movie will be produced by TS Narin Cinema.
The upcoming film will narrate the story of a stuntman who dreams of becoming an actor. Cho Byeong Kyu will play the role of Jeon Woo Seok who instantly returned to high school in his 40s. He will portray as a high school student with a soul in his 40s.
"Even If I Die Once Again" will reportedly premiere in 2022.
This movie is the first confirmed project of Cho Byeong Kyu since his hiatus because of the bullying allegations.
Cho Byeong Kyu was involved in the bullying controversy earlier this year. This issue made him step down on several projects (dramas, variety programs, etc.) lined up for him. Before all the issues, the actor was one of the most talked-about because of his hit drama "The Uncanny Counter."
In June of this year, there has finally been news about Cho Byeong Kyu. It was stated that the actor renewed his contract with his agency BH Entertainment. Aside from that, Cho Byeong Kyu was offered to lead the upcoming drama "History of Losers" directed by "Confidential Assignment" director Kim Sung Hoon.
It seems like Cho Byeong Kyu will return to activities in 2022 with new dramas and movies. He will possibly lead the second season of "The Uncanny Counter 2" and he will also reportedly join the upcoming movie "Millenial Killer."
As for the bullying controversy, Cho Byeong Kyu is still sticking to his statement that all the accusations are false.
