Girls' Generation's Choi Soo Young given an offer to star alongside Ji Chang Wook and Sung Dong Il in the upcoming drama "Tell Me Your Wish"
According to several news reports on September 1st, Choi Soo Young also received the offer to be the main lead of the upcoming drama "Tell Me Your Wish" directed by Kim Yong Wan ("The Cursed"). Ji Chang Wook and Sung Dong Il also received the offer to star in the drama.
The idol actress' agency Saram Entertainment shared their response to the news, stating that Choi Soo Young is still reviewing the offer.
"Tell Me Your Wish" will revolve around people whose lives are on their end. The drama will show how these people wanted to "die well". The drama is set on a hospice ward.
Ji Chang Wook got the offer to portray the role of Yoon Gye Ree. He has no will to live but barely holding on with his strong upfront. Sung Dong Il received the character of Kang Tae Shik, a passionate volunteer at the hospice hospital. Choi Soo Young was given the offer to play Seo Yeon Joo, the health-obsessed nurse. She is a bright person who gives hope to the people in the hospice hospital.
No other details yet on when and where will "Tell Me Your Wish" be broadcasted.
If Choi Soo Young accepts the drama, this will be her follow-up series after "So I Married an Anti-Fan." She was also part of the dramas "Run On," "Tell Me What You Saw," "38 Task Force," "Dating Agency: Cyrano," and more.
Aside from "Tell Me Your Wish," Choi Soo Young also received the offer to lead the upcoming drama "Accidental Country Diary" with Jang Geun Suk.
Choi Soo Young will also appear and reunite in the upcoming episode of "Hangout With Yoo" with her idol group Girls Generation after four years.
