Choi Tae Joon to cameo on the upcoming episode of tvN's "Twenty-Five Twenty-One."
On February 25th, tvN released still cuts of Choi Tae Joon together with the female lead of "Twenty-Five Twenty-One," Kim Tae Ri.
"Twenty-Five Twenty-One" is set in 1998 and tells the journey of youth chasing their dreams while the IMF crisis is underway. Two people meet and become each others' strength when they are 22 and 18 years old respectively and fall in love years later.
The tvN series is directed by Jung Ji Hyun ("You Are My Spring") and written by Kwon Do Eun ("Search: WWW"). It is produced by Hwa & Dam Pictures.
"Twenty-Five Twenty-One" is currently one of the most talked-about dramas today. It's topping the ratings compared to other dramas airing in the same time slot including cable and general programming.
Choi Tae Joon will be making a special appearance on episode 5 wherein he will play the role of Jeong Ho Jin, a representative of the national fencing team. Fans are wondering how Choi Tae Joon's character will affect the ongoing story.
"Twenty-Five Twenty-One" is led by Nam Joo Hyuk, Kim Tae Ri, WJSN Bona, Choi Hyun Wook, Lee Joo Myung, and Seo Jae Hee.
The fifth episode of tvN's "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" will be released at 9:10 PM KST on February 26th and will also be available on the global OTT platform, Netflix.
This will be Choi Tae Joon's first project after getting married to actress Park Shin Hye last month.
Choi Tae Joon last starred in the 2021 dramas "The Man's Voice" and "So I Married An Anti-Fan." He was also part of the dramas "The Undateables," "Suspicious Partner," "109 Strange Things," "Missing 9," "The Girl Who Sees Scents," "The Great Seer," and more.
