Actor Choi Young Joon will be joining the upcoming tvN and Netflix series, "Our Blues."

On February 28th Choi Young Joon's agency Double K Entertainment revealed that the actor will be added to the star-studded cast of  "Our Blues."

"Our Blues" will be directed by Kim Kyu Tae and written by Noh Hee Kyung. The two have worked together for the hit dramas "That Winter, The Wind Blows,” "Live,” and "The World That They Live In.”

The upcoming series is an omnibus-style drama that will revolve around the people who are somehow linked with each other. "Our Blues" is set in Jeju Island.

The main leads of "Our Blues" consist of top stars  Lee Byung Hun, Cha Seung Won, Kim Woo Bin, Shin Min Ah, Han Ji Min, Lee Jung Eun, and Uhm Jung Hwa

Choi Young Joon will play the role of Bang Ho Sik. He is a seller of ice at Jeju Island's market. He will be working with actress Roh Yoon Seo who will play as his daughter in the drama.

"Our Blues" will have a total of 20 episodes. It will premiere this coming April 9, 2022. The series will be both available on tvN and Netflix.

"Our Blues" will be Choi Young Joon's first drama for 2022. He last starred in the JTBC series "Inspector Koo." Last year, the actor became the talk of the town for starring in the hit tvN series "Vincenzo" with Song Joong Ki, Jeon Yeo Been, 2PM's Ok Taec Yeon, Kim Yeo Jin, Jo Han Chul. and Kwak Dong Yeon. He was also part of the second season of "Hospital Playlist 2." 

Choi Young Joon made his acting debut in 2019. He was also part of the dramas "Flower of Evil," and "Arthdal Chronicles Part 1: The Children of Prophecy" series."

Aside from "Our Blues," Choi Young Joon will also join the upcoming 2022 drama "Why Her."
