The upcoming TVING original series Pyramid Game dropped its first teaser.
Pyramid Game depicts a cruel survival game in which the students are divided into perpetrators, victims, and bystanders in class 2–5 of Baekyeon Girls' High School by secret ballot. The votes, which decide who will be outcasts/victims of bullying, happen once a month.
Bona portrays Sung Su Ji, a transfer student who begins to change the game of hierarchy by which victims of bullying are chosen.
Having become a victim of school violence after getting entangled in the Pyramid Game for the first time, she plans a strategy to end the game.
Jang Da A plays the role of Baek Ha Rin, who is everyone's beloved in class 2–5. Ryu Da In plays the affectionate student Myeong Ja Eun.
Shin Seul Ki transforms into the game's host and the top student of the school, Seo Do Ah. Kang Na Eon transforms into Im Ye Rim, an idol trainee of class 2–5.
The trailer commences by showing Sung Su Ji stepping into her new class.
Once a month, on the last Thursday, Baekyeon High School's class 2–5 selects a victim through voting via an app. While students call it the Pyramid Game, Sung Su Ji soon realizes that this system is a means to harass and bully students legally.
Sung Su Ji is given the lowest F-grade as soon as she transfers. From that moment, her school life becomes a nightmare. She suffers extreme violence, all in the name of a game.
Baek Ha Rin's inexplicable statement, "Su Ji, it's not your fault," hints at the cruelty of those on the top of the pyramid.
In order to escape the hellish bullying, she makes it her goal "to find a way out. A way to escape from F."
Determined to break through to the top instead of enduring at the bottom, Sung Su Ji raises anticipation about her strategy to shatter the pyramid and turn the tide in her favor.
Pyramid Game will premiere on on February 29. Watch the trailer here.
