DKZ member Park Jae Chan will take on the challenge of starring in an upcoming youth historical K-drama.
It was officially confirmed that Park Jae Chan will join the cast of the upcoming Channel A K-drama Check in Hanyang. Park Jae Chan's agency also confirmed the idol actor's casting.
This will be the debut of Park Jae Chan in historical K-dramas. The idol actor became more popular after he starred in the BL K-drama Semantic Error with actor Park Seo Ham.
Aside from the upcoming historical K-drama, Park Jae Chan will also star in the upcoming series The Woman Who Plays with Uhm Tae Goo, Han Sun Hwa, Kwon Yool, Kim Hyun Jin, Park Jae Chan, and Yang Hyun Min.
He will also become the son of actress Kim Hee Sun in the upcoming MBC K-drama Our House.
Park Jae Chan made his acting debut in 2019. He was part of the K-dramas My YouTube Diary, Can You Deliver Time?, No Going Back Romance, Youtuber Class, I:LOVE:DM, and more.
Aside from his acting activities, Park Jae Chan will also return with a new album together with his K-pop group DKZ. DKZ is set to release their second mini album titled Reboot this week.
Check in Hanyang is a romance comedy set in the Joseon Dynasty era. It will tell the stories of three men and one woman who will enter Yongcheonru, the largest guest house in Joseon.
Aside from Park Jae Chan, the K-drama will be led by Kim Ji Eun, Bae In Hyuk, and Jung Gun Joo.
The upcoming K-drama will have a total of 16 episodes and it will exclusively premiere on Channel A.
Check in Hanyang will reportedly air in the fourth quarter of 2024.
