"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" Actor Kang Ki Young is Back in Lawyer's Role in "Queen of Divorce"

Kang Ki Young flaunts his charm in the new stills of Queen of Divorce.

Queen of Divorce is the story of Kim Sa Ra, South Korea's top divorce mediator, and a cunning lawyer, Dong Ki Joon, working at the divorce settlement firm Solution. 

Kang Ki Young, renowned for his versatility, has proven his acting prowess in his previous K-dramas, such as Extraordinary Attorney Woo and The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch.

In Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Kang Ki Young impressed viewers with his role as the upright, fair, and unbiased senior lawyer Jung Myung Seok.

In The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch, he sought a different transformation and had a dark presence as the main antagonist Hwang Pil Gwang, who was cunning, ruthless, and wicked. 

The K-actor is now attracting attention by promising a unique character transformation in Queen of Divorce. 

In the upcoming series, Kang Ki Young will take on the role of fearless lawyer Dong Ki Joon, who will assist Kim Sa Ra (Lee Ji Ah) in retaliating against troublesome spouses.

Writer Jung Hee Sun of Queen of Divorce describes Dong Ki Joon, saying, " He is [that kind of] a colleague who inspires you with positive energy and tells you that everything will be fine even when things are not working out and a partner who takes your side and tells you that even if the solution fails, it is okay."

She also praised Kang Ki Young, saying, "He firmly grasped the center of the drama. [He is] a very reliable actor [from the perspective of] a writer."

Queen of Divorce will premiere on January 31. The K-drama will be made available on Netflix.
