Hello guys! Welcome back to my 2nd article. Hope you enjoy reading it. :)

As it already says in the title, I am going to talk about some dramas that triggered my frustration level.

Note: If any of the dramas that I mentioned turns out to be your favorite drama then please excuse me. :)

Please beware of spoilers.

Before starting, let me brief you on some points:

  1. I will share my thoughts on why I didn't like a particular drama.
  2. I'll start mentioning the dramas in descending order so that the most frustrating drama I ever watched comes out as a surprise for y'all. :)

So hold on tight since we are going to start this ride!

All of these are really not recommended if you haven't watched them. ヽ(≧□≦)ノ

5. Fated To Love You

Synopsis:

Mi Yeon is a typical office clerk who is rather plain, somewhat awkward, and has her good nature taken advantage of by her co-workers on a daily basis. While on vacation, she accidentally spends one night with a stranger who happens to be handsome, charming, and rich. And her life will never be the same! This fateful encounter brings a love that transforms this not-so-special girl into an attractive, warm, lovable young lady.

Why I didn't like it?

It was such a good drama that when I started watching it, I thought that this is definitely going to be one of my favorites. The chemistry between the leads. The comedy, the plot, overall it was really engaging. But, when did it turn bad? When they introduced the amnesia of the Male Lead. Then slowly he forgot about the Female Lead, their baby, everything. I still wanted to continue it but I don't know why, I just couldn't. I just wasn't able to click on the next episode. Since I liked it a lot otherwise, it was the least frustrating for me. :)

4. Love in Time

Synopsis:

An unknown writer gets into a contract marriage with a high-ranking officer of an investment company to solve her personal crisis. They happened to be desk mates in school. During their fake marriage, the two begin to slowly understand each other and gradually fall in love.

Actually, it was really good until it wasn't. The ML who we would expect to be an arrogant guy is the one who is actually a sweet person. I loved the chemistry of the couple. But I didn’t like the FL that much because of her continuous toxic behavior towards the ML. He literally showed all his feelings to her but she always ignored them because of that stupid thing that happened in the past which wasn’t even the ML’s fault.

Okay, so moving on, the second couple was also adorable but the SFL was just a headache, always being nosy of ML & FL’s relationship.

Believe me, it was okay till here, too, it was bearable and was like just any other good drama. But where did it turn bad for me? At the time when they unnecessarily introduced the SML when the drama was just about to end. Why can't we just have simple episodes for the end? Why introduce another obstacle in their relationship when everything could’ve gone really well? According to me, there was no need to introduce the SML and because of that, the sweet, cute, fluffy drama suddenly turned into a drama with a really bad plotline. They could’ve seriously done better than this.

3. Introverted Boss

Synopsis:

When a young, energetic employee joins a public relations firm with an introverted and severely misunderstood boss, she makes it her life’s mission to show the world who he really is. Eun Hwan Ki is the boss at a PR company. He is really shy. So shy that even his employees don't know him that well. He prefers to hide in his office. Everyone thinks he is a cold, prickly, arrogant grouch. They call him the "Silent Monster". Chae Ro Woon is a recent hire at the same company. She is energetic, bubbly, loves to be the center of attention, and always has something to say. The exact opposite of her boss, who she seems to have an old grudge against. Her goal in life is to expose the big boss man for who he really is and take her revenge. The same company also employs Kang Woo Il, co-boss. He, unlike his partner, is warm, sensitive, and well-liked. Eun Yi Soo is a chaebol heiress who has been engaged for three long years.

The FL literally came to take revenge on the ML but I didn’t think that she would be so horrible and take revenge in such an unpleasant way that can make a person depressed. After that, they started to like each other but what I will always remember is the ML’s worst line: “There are thousands of reasons we can’t stay together” - like what? If you love each other, then you can overcome all those thousands of reasons why you can’t be together.

Not to forget the annoying friend-cum-enemy of the ML. Why, just why? He played such a good role in Age Of Youth and I loved him so much. But why this character? A guy who just uses girls for his own personal benefit. He is engaged to a girl he doesn’t like and he cheats on the girl he does like. Overall, I would say this drama was a complete failure. They could’ve done better with this story. The only characters who kept this drama alive was the The Silent Monster Team.

2. My Neighbor Can't Sleep

Synopsis:

A sweet romance begins when a pianist suffering from insomnia finds comfort in a quirky romance novelist. Song Mi Duo, who's been single since birth, is an aspiring romance novelist who dreams of making it big. During the summer after her high school graduation, she meets Xi Song, a pianist who became famous at a young age. Due to the pressures that he faces, Xi Song suffers from insomnia, but is surprised to realize that he can sleep when Song Mi Duo is beside him. Using Xi Song as her model, Song Mi Do becomes determined to write a love story that will take the world by storm. The two work up a deal that they will both benefit from, thus starting a unique sleeping arrangement as they chase for their dreams.

Oh Boy! Are we literally gonna talk about this drama? Yes, unfortunately, we are. This an underrated drama that only some of you might know. But it's better not to know this at all. I am glad if you haven’t watched this drama as it was such a headache.

Okay, the synopsis literally says that he has insomnia and they will have a sleeping arrangement, so it picks up many people’s attention, but believe me, it only lasts for six episodes and nothing actually happens between them, lol. The insomnia part, which is almost more than half of the plot, is done in only six episodes, what? So what do the rest of episodes have? Nothing, and when I say nothing, I mean it. It only has the FL chasing after the ML with all her efforts and the ML also liking her but not being able to express his feelings to her. And then of course the obstacles in between.

"Thus starting a unique sleeping arrangement as they chase for their dreams." As they chase their dream?! WTH. They only show that the ML plays piano and all but what about the girl being a writer?! Nothing. Literally nothing.

To be honest, the only character that was bearable was - no one. But I would really like to mention Chen Yi Xin for portraying the character so nicely. I don’t even know if I was watching the ML or just a pretty doll sitting and talking to people because I could literally feel no emotions from the ML and just because of this, I felt like I am in a completely distant place from the drama. Usually the dramas which I love, I feel like I am inside the drama. It's just that I am watching it from inside, but here I thought I was literally sitting on Mars and watching a drama that is playing on Earth.

If you ask me, the photography or whatever you call it wasn't that good for me, either. And the background music simply sucked.Don't watch it & save your precious time.

Here comes the surprise!

1. The Heirs

Synopsis:

Kim Tan is the heir to Empire Group who has been sent to study abroad in the U.S. In reality, it's a form of exile, as his elder half-brother back home schemes to take over the family business. While in the States, Kim Tan meets Cha Eun Sang, who arrived from Korea in search of her older sister. He feels himself falling for her, never realizing that she's the daughter of his family's housekeeper. When his fiancée Rachel Yoo arrives to bring him back to Korea, his heart is torn between love and duty.

Why I didn't like it?

Almost all of us know this famous drama written by the famous writer Kim Eun Sook, but this is one of those dramas that I really hated. Why? Let me tell you the synopsis of this drama. To be honest, I am not a big fan of both the leads. I tried some of their dramas but no, just no.

Of course, if it is a drama written by Kim Eun Sook, then:

The FL is a poor girl who was raised by a single parent. Her mother, unfortunately, can't speak. She goes to America and meets a super rich boy who falls in love with her at first sight. They move back to Korea where she finds out that, unfortunately, the rich boy is already engaged to a super rich girl. And that’s not it, her mother works as a housekeeper at ML’s house.

The ML confesses his love to her, she denies. Then she confesses his love to him, he denies, and the cycle goes on and on. This might be the only drama in which I wanted the SML & SFL to live a happy life and not get any of the main leads.

The biggest problem was the ML’s father who didn’t want him to date the FL. And at the end, they are not even allowed to get married but just that they can date each other?

Honestly speaking, if I would’ve known more about other dramas at the time, I would have dropped this drama already and would’ve moved on. But I know I am never getting those 20 hours of my life back.

That's all guys! Thanks for reading this. I hope you liked it.

Share some of the dramas that were really frustrating for you! ~(=^‥^)ノ
