Lee Hyun Jin will be added to the cast of Lee Min Jung and Kim Ji Suk's new K-drama
The upcoming OTT K-drama Climax (working title) will reportedly have a star-studded lineup!
On November 25, media outlet TV Daily shared an exclusive report revealing that Ha Ji Won, Ju Ji Hoon, Oh Jung Se, Cha Joo Young, and After School's Nana might work together in one K-drama. According to reports, these actors will lead the upcoming OTT K-drama titled Climax.
Climax will tell the story of a woman who uses the power of a cartel to make her prosecutor husband become the president.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Lee Ji Won who is known for creating the films Miss Baek, Bungee Jumping of Their Own, The Scarlet Letter, and the upcoming film Portrait of a Family. It will be produced by Hive Media Corp.
Back in 2023, there were already reports that Ju Ji Hoon would lead the series and the actor is positively considering the offer to star in the series.
The upcoming K-drama Climax will reportedly premiere on a global streaming platform. Reports revealed that after the casting is finalized, the movie will begin filming.
If Ha Ji Won confirms her casting, this will be her second project with the director. The two will also work in the upcoming film Portrait of a Family. The actress is also set to lead the upcoming K-drama Murder Case of a Visiting Tutor in J Apartment.
Ju Ji Hoon is currently starring in the rom-com K-drama Love Your Enemy with Jung Yu Mi. The actor will also join the upcoming series Light Shop and The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call.
Meanwhile, if Oh Jung Se decides to join Climax, this will be his sixth upcoming K-drama. The brilliant actor will also join the cast of the upcoming K-dramas Good Boy, Tempest, When Life Gives You Tangerines, When the Stars Gossip, and The Return of Kwon Baek.
