Upcoming K-movie Hijacking dropped Ha Jung Woo's stills. The actor plays Tae In, a former Air Force fighter pilot turned co-pilot of a passenger airline.
Hijacking tells the story of people fighting for their lives in an extreme situation when a passenger plane is hijacked in the airspace of Korea in 1971.
Tae In was a promising Air Force fighter pilot with excellent skills. Two years ago, during a training exercise, he received orders to shoot down a passenger plane attempting to defect to North Korea. But when hijacking was suspected, he refused to follow the order and was dismissed from duty.
He later becomes a co-pilot of a passenger plane, but still grapples with lingering doubts regarding his past choice.
The stills capture Tae In's charisma as a former Air Force pilot and his trustworthiness as a duty-driven co-pilot, ensuring the convenience and safety of passengers. In a moment of life and death, Tae In, endowed with an extraordinary sense of responsibility, must make a choice that will decide the fate of everyone on board.
Hijacking will be released on June 21.
