Im Joo Hwan and Lee Ha Na will reportedly work together on a new KBS weekend drama.
On April 19th it was reported that Im Joo Hwan and Lee Ha Na will be the main leads for the upcoming KBS drama "Three Siblings Bravely (literal translation)."
Im Joo Hwan's agency Blossom Entertainment confirmed that the actor indeed receive the offer and he is positively reviewing it. There's no official decision yet.
Meanwhile, Lee Ha Na's side hasn't responded to the reports yet.
"Three Siblings Bravely (literal translation)" will tell the story of a family with three children. Kim Tae Joo is the eldest and has made the most sacrifice for the family. He just got married to Lee Sang Joon and the story will center on the eldest son.
Im Joo Hwan got the offer to play the role of Kim Tae Joo, the eldest son of the family. Lee Ha Na on the other hand will play the role of Lee Sang Joon, the wife of Kim Tae Joo.
If Im Joo Hwan and Lee Ha Na confirm their casting, this will be the first time that the two will star in a weekend series.
The upcoming KBS weekend drama will reportedly air in the second half of the year. It will reportedly be the next drama after "Now Is Beautiful."
Im Joo Hwan last starred in the 2020 series "The Spies Who Loved Me." He was last seen in the variety program "Unexpected Business Season 2." He made a special appearance in support of real-life friend Jo In Sung.
The actor will also join the upcoming movie "Broker" with Kim Young Kwang, Lee Sung Kyung, Chun Ho Jin, Ko Chang Seok, Jung Man Shik, and more.
Meanwhile, Lee Ha Na last starred in the 2021 series "Voice 4: Judgment Hour." She is known for being the main lead in the four seasons of "Voice." She also led the dramas "A Piece of Your Mind," "Unkind Women," "High School King of Savvy," and more.
