Newtopia tells the story of soldier Lee Jae Yoon (Park Jeong Min) and Young Joo (Kim Ji Soo) as they navigate a zombie-infested Seoul, desperately trying to reunite.
Im Sung Jae takes on the role of Private First Class Ra In Ho, an elder but silly soldier. Ra In Ho often faces scolding for his clumsiness, unexpected from a man his age, but he remains respectful toward his senior, Jae Yoon.
Kim Joon Han takes on the role of Aaron Park, the general manager of Eden Hotel. For Aaron Park, whose mission is to provide the best service to his guests, the zombie outbreak that turns the hotel into chaos is nothing short of a disaster. With his strong sense of pride as a general manager, Aaron struggles to protect the hotel from complete ruin in the midst of the zombie crisis.
Hong Seo Hee plays Oh Soo Jung, a meticulous hotelier with a strong sense of professionalism. Driven by her resolve to protect the hotel, Oh Soo Jung teams up with Jae Yoon and Ra In Ho to fight hordes of zombies. In unexpected moments, she surprises her companions with her boldness.
