The upcoming Coupang Play K-drama "Bait Season 1" will officially premiere this month.
On January 9, Coupang Play released several still cuts of Jang Geun Suk for the upcoming K-drama "Bait Season 1." It was also confirmed that the upcoming K-drama will be released on January 27.
The upcoming K-drama will be led by Jang Geun Suk, Heo Sung Tae, Lee Elijah, Yoo Sung Joo, Park Myung Hoon, and Lee Sung Wook.
"Bait Season 1" is a crime thriller K-drama that will showcase the secrets surrounding him as he became the suspect in a murder case from eight years ago.
This will be the latest work of director Kim Hong Seon ("Metamorphosis " and "Voice") and written by Kim Jin Wook.
Jang Geun Suk will play the role of Koo Do Han. He is part of the violent crime department. He is passionate more than anyone else when investigating a murder case. While investigating the murder case, he then realized that the case he is investigating is related to No Sang Cheon, a fraudulent criminal who died eight years ago. With this, Koo Do Han will find the truth.
"Bait Season 1" will premiere twice a week starting on January 27, Friday. The upcoming first season will have a total of 6 episodes. The second part will also premiere in the first half of the year.
This will be the comeback k-drama of Jang Geun Suk after five years. He last starred in the 2018 series "Switch: Change the World."
