Jang Hee Jin might return to the small screen with the new drama "Red Cuff of the Sleeve" with main leads 2PM's Lee Jun Ho and Lee Se Young.
On May 7, reports stated that Jang Hee Jin will join the upcoming drama "Red Cuff of the Sleeve" and will possibly play the role of Queen Kim, who will later become Queen Jeongsun. She is a calm, elegant, intelligent and decisive character who will later face King Jeong Jo.
Jang Hee Jin's side hasn't responded to the circulating news of her joining the upcoming drama.
"Red Cuff of the Sleeve" will be directed by Jung Ji In who also worked on the drama "Radiant Office," "Let's Hold Hands Tightly and Watch The Sunset" and more, and the script will be written by "The Emperor: Owner of the Mask" writer, Jung Hae Ri.
The drama will tell the different circumstances that occurred when an ordinary court lady becomes the mother of the crown prince.
2PM's Lee Jun Ho and Lee Se Young's agencies stated that their artists are positively reviewing the offer to star in the drama. Lee Jun Ho got the offer to play the role of Yi San / King Jeong Jo and Lee Se Young will possible play the character of Consort Ui.
Jang Hee Jin made her acting debut in 2004 through the drama "Nonstop 5". She also appeared in several dramas such as "Seoul Warrior Story," "Myung Wol the Spy," "What's Up?", "Big," "Seo Yeong, My Daughter," "The Scholar Who Walks the Night," "Tower of Babel," and more. She previously appeared in the 2020 drama "Flower of Evil" with main leads Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won.
