Jung Jae Sung is the newest addition to the cast of "The King's Affection"
It was confirmed on October 4th, that Jung Jae Sung will be in a new drama this year. He will be joining the upcoming KBS Monday-Tuesday drama titled "The King's Affection."
"The King's Affection" is helmed by director Song Hyun Wook ("The Beauty Inside") and writer Han Hee Jung ("Clean with Passion for Now"). The drama will depict the story of a girl who became a crown prince through the death of his twin brother. It will tell the romance between Prince Lee Hwi and his teacher who's also from a noble family named Jung Ji Woon.
Park Eun Bin will portray the role of Prince Lee Hwi. When she was born, she was secretly sent out of the palace. After her twin brother's death, she was assigned to pretend to be the crown prince. SF9's Rowoon will play the role of Jung Ji Woon. He is a teacher from the Crown Prince sikangwon, a government office that is dedicated in teaching crown princes. Jung Jae Sung will play the role of Noh Hak Su, the father of Crown Prince Noh Ha Kyung (played by Jung Chae Yeon).
Other cast members of the drama include Nam Yoon Su, Bae Yoon Kyung, Choi Byung Chan, Jung Chae Yeon, Lee Pil Mo, Lee Il Hwa, and more.
"The King's Affection" is set to premiere on October 11th and will be available through KBS and Netflix.
This will be Jung Jae Sung's first drama for 2021. He last starred in the 2020 phenomenal drama "The World of the Married." Although the actor hasn't starred in any dramas this year, he made special appearances in the series "Navillera" and "The Devil Judge."
Jung Jae Sung also participated in this year's movie titled "The Cursed: Dead Man's Prey."
