Kang Hoon is confirmed to star in the upcoming Korean remake of the drama "Someday or One Day."
Several media outlets on February 9th shared that Kang Hoon will be part of the upcoming Korean remake of the Taiwanese drama "Someday or One Day."
Kang Hoon will be working with reported main leads Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Been. The two haven't confirmed their casting yet.
"Someday or One Day" will narrate the story of a woman who misses her dead boyfriend. She made us of a portable cassette to return to 1998. There, she will meet a man that looks exactly like his dead boyfriend.
Kang Hoon will play the role of Mo Jun Jie (Patrick Shih's role in the Taiwanese version).
The Taiwanese drama "Someday or One Day" aired in 2019 and garnered a lot of attention in several countries including Korea. Many are already anticipating the Korean version of the series. There are also talks that the Korean remake is in discussion to air on a global OTT platform but nothing has been confirmed yet.
"Someday or One Day" will be the first official drama of Kang Hoon for 2022. He last starred in the hit MBC series "The Red Sleeve" with 2PM's Lee Jun Ho, Lee Se Young, Lee Deok Hwa, Park Ji Young, and Jang Hee Jin. He also received his first acting award "Best New Actor" at the MBC 2021 awards because of this series.
Kang Hoon made his acting debut in 2017. Since then, he has been active in participating in various dramas. He was part of the dramas "You Are My Spring," "Meow, the Secret Boy," "Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung," "Let Me Introduce Her," "Flower Ever After," and more.
