'Love Scout's production team issues statement regarding the controversy surrounding director Ham
The premiere date for Lee Sun Bin and Kang Tae Oh's upcoming K-drama, The Potato Lab, has been revealed!
On January 14, tvN shared a teaser poster for The Potato Lab on their social media. The poster features a sprouting potato set against a yellow backdrop, along with the premiere date of March 1.
The Potato Lab follows Kim Mi Kyeong, a passionate researcher obsessed with potatoes and So Baek Ho, a charismatic but ruthless capitalist driven by making profits. So Baek Ho arrives at the potato research center in a mountain valley, where he clashes with Kim Mi Kyeong.
Lee Sun Bin, after she confirmed her casting in the K-drama back in 2024, commented, "I'm so happy and thrilled to be part of a tvN drama again after such a long time. I'm excited to show viewers a new side of myself. I'll work hard to deliver a good performance."
Kang Tae Oh shared his thoughts, saying, "As this is my first project after completing my military service, I feel a bit nervous, but I'm even more excited to meet viewers and fans through a good production like this [drama]... Please show lots of interest and anticipation for The Potato Lab."
Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung's director Kang Il Soo and screenwriter Kim Ho Soo unite for The Potato Lab. The K-drama also stars Lee Hak Joo, Shin Hyun Seung, Seo Ji Hoon, and Kwak Ja Hyung, among others.
The Potato Lab will premiere on March 1. News about the K-drama's global OTT platform is yet to come.
