Kim Mi Kyung is confirmed to join the upcoming Netflix original series "Remarriage and Desires."
On February 2nd media outlet StarNews shared that veteran actress Kim Mi Kyung will participate in the upcoming drama "Remarriage and Desires." The actress already took part in the filming of the series.
"Remarriage and Desires" will revolve around the remarriage market. It will showcase an exclusive matchmaking agency that works with women who strive to marry a desirable bachelor and into the highest echelon of society.
The original series will be helmed by director Kim Jung Min ("Secret Royal Inspector" and "Bad Guys") and writer Lee Geun Young ("I'm a Mother, Too" and "My Mother is a Daughter-In-Law"). The drama will reportedly have 8 episodes and it will exclusively air on Netflix.
Kim Mi Kyung will be working with Kim Hee Sun, Lee Hyun Wook, Cha Ji Yeon, Jung Eugene, Park Hoon, and Kim Yun Seo. She will play as the chairman of a self-made venture company.
"Remarriage and Desires" will be released this summer and it will be available to 190 countries around the world through Netflix.
This will be Kim Mi Kyung's second drama for the year. Before she appears on "Remarriage and Desires," she will first join the soon-to-air drama "Forecasting Love and Weather" with Park Min Young, Song Kang, Yoon Park, Girls Day Yura, and more.
The actress is known for starring in the hit dramas "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," "Another Miss Oh," "It's Okay, That's Love," "The Heirs," "The Master's Sun," "I Hear Your Voice," "Missing You," "Secret Garden," "Sungkyunkwan Scandal," and more.
Kim Mi Kyung last starred in the 2020 drama "18 Again" as Yeo In Ja, Kim Ha Neul's character's mother. She also made a special appearance in the 2021 dramas "She Would Never Know," "Sell Your Haunted House," and "Would You Like a Cup of Coffee?".
