Kim So Hyun and Hwang Min Hyun's "My Lovely Liar" Premieres With Decent Ratings

The tvN drama My Lovely Liar premiered with ratings of 2.58% (nationwide) and 2.20% (metropolitan) on July 31st. The series is led by Kim So Hyun, Hwang Min Hyun, Seo Ji Hoon, and Lee Si Woo. My Lovely Liar follows the story of Mok Sol Hee (Kim So Hyun), a woman who can hear lies, and a genius composer Kim Do Ha (Hwang Min Hyun), who hides his true identity.

The KBS2 drama Heartbeat hit a new low. The drama's 11th episode garnered an average nationwide viewership of 1.9%, a significant drop since its previous episode's rating of 2.5%. Heartbeat premiered with a strong rating of 4.1% but eventually dropped to 3% from episodes 2-4. The third week observed some improvement, but ratings further fell to 2% in the fourth and fifth weeks. And with the 11th episode's viewership further dropping to 1.9%, Heartbeat's prospects of surpassing its current highest rating of 4.1% (episode 1) look bleak. 

But, looking at the bright side of things, Heartbeat continues to top Amazon Prime charts in countries like Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Thailand.

The ENA drama Not Others continues to rise in domestic viewership. The series reached a new height by achieving a nationwide rating of 2.88%, a decent improvement since its previous episode's viewership of 2.74%. Not Others is almost halfway through the series.
