Kim Tae Ri and Kim Woo Bin's "Alienoid 2" Confirms Release

The sci-fi K-movie Alienoid 2 has confirmed its release for January 2024 and unveiled a teaser and a poster.  

Alienoid 2 picks up from where it left off in Part 1. The movie tells the story of people trying to return to the present to save everyone while new secrets are unveiled in an intense fight for a divine artifact. Alienoid 2 is expected to solve all the mysteries left unresolved by Part 1. 

The star-studded cast of Part 2 includes Ryu Joon Yeol, Kim Tae Ri, Kim Woo Bin, Yeom Jung Ah, Jo Woo Jin, Kim Eui Sung, Lee Ha Nee, and Jin Seon Kyu, among others. 

The teaser poster for Alienoid 2 features the main characters Mu Reuk (Ryu Joon Yeol), Yi An (Kim Tae Ri), and Thunder (Kim Woo Bin). Against the backdrop of crumbling buildings and a strange atmosphere, coupled with the text "We Must Go Back. To Protect Everyone," gives a glimpse of the tense circumstances the characters find themselves in. 

The teaser starts off by showing Yi An, who has retrieved the divine artifact in the Goryeo era, traveling to the future with Mu Reuk and two mages from Samgaksan (Yeom Jung Ah) and Cheong Woon (Jo Woo Jin) to prevent a catastrophe. 

Thunder, who disappeared after landing in Goryeo with the young Yi An, now reveals himself, traveling through a time portal to the future. Mu Reuk's realization of something inside his body and his changing dynamics with Yi An, hint at new developments in Part 2.

The sight of the diverse characters, such as a judicial investigator at the Korea Customs Service, Min Gae In (Lee Ha Nee), blind swordsman Neung Pa (Jin Seon Kyu), and the formidable villain Ja Jang (Kim Eui Sung), build anticipation for the thriller flick. 

Alienoid 2 Part 2 is scheduled for release in January 2024. Watch the teaser below.
