On July 27th, SBS released a making-of-Revenant video from the sets of the K-drama on its official YouTube channel.
The video showcased Kim Tae Ri's mesmerizing portrayal of Ku San Young, a character possessed by an evil spirit.
In the revealed footage, Kim Tae Ri astounded the staff with her compelling performance of San Young downing 1.5 liters of bottled water in one gulp.
The production team lavished praise on Kim Tae Ri's remarkable performance, with captions in the video commending her for making the audience believe she was genuinely consuming the water. Viewers also showered praise on her bone-chilling depiction of the demon-possessed Ku San Young, with comments predicting she could be a strong contender for the Grand Prize at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards.

Looking forward to the 11th episode, the production team teased the growing intensity of the demon's final rampage now that its identity has been revealed. To counter the malevolent entity, San Young, Hae Sang (Oh Jung Se), and Hong Sae (Hong Kyung) must seek out the last item associated with the demon, which holds the key to its riddance. The team expressed their hope that the viewers will remain engaged until the very end.
Revenant is a story about Ku San Young (Kim Tae Ri), a civil service aspirant who juggles part-time jobs during the day, and studies for her exams during the night. One day, she gets her hands on an heirloom left behind by her father, and since then, she encounters mysterious experiences and deaths and finds herself gradually changing.
But there is one man who can figure out the mystery surrounding the inexplicable happenings and experiences of Ku San Young. Yeom Hae Sang hails from a well-off family and is a professor teaching Korean folklore at a university. Ever since childhood, he had the unique ability to see otherworldly forces and even witnessed his mother's death by a demon. Yeom Hae Sang sees the demon possessing Ku San Young, and together they try to uncover its true identity.
