Kim Yoo Jung transforms into a sweet and sassy chaebol heiress, Do Do Hee, in My Demon.
SBS's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama, My Demon, has released the character stills of Kim Yoo Jung, who plays the devilish Do Do Hee.
Do Hee is the heiress of the Mirae Group who trusts nobody. Surrounded by enemies, she soon realized the harsh realities of her world and became cynical about love.
The new stills highlight Do Hee's elegance and charisma. She is the CEO of Mirae F&B, a subsidiary of the Mirae Group, leading a demanding life as a workaholic woman with little room for anything else.
Could her relentless pursuit of excellence be due to her past struggles, where she was treated as an outsider in the Mirae Group Chairman Joo Cheon Sook's (Kim Hae Sook) family circle?
The pics of Do Hee, captured at an event, showcase her glamorous appearance. Her eyes exude an air of haughtiness, her smile radiates confidence, and her charisma shows her power that has let her maintain her position in the group.
The mystery behind why the powerful Do Hee ends up in a contract marriage with demon Koo Won piques curiosity.
Kim Yoo Jung commented on her reasons for choosing the role, saying, "The character Do Do Hee has an intriguing storyline and chemistry with the other characters, and each of the other characters also came across as charming."
She further added, "While Do Do Hee may come across as cynical and composed on the surface, she is, in fact, a lonely character. I endeavored to portray the diverse facets of how she has lived to protect herself."
Describing Do Hee as a "blessing in disguise," she stated, "Do Do Hee goes through many experiences after meeting Gu Won. Please tune in to find out why I chose the keyword 'blessing in disguise [to describe her].'"
My Demon will premiere on November 24. It will be available to stream on Netflix.
