Lee Dong Hwi and Han Ji Eun to star in the upcoming movie "Moradong"
On October 22nd media outlets reported that Lee Dong Hwi and Han Ji Eun will be the main leads for the upcoming movie "Moradong." It will be helmed by director Kim Jin Tae who also directed the black comedy movie "Sports Day."
"Moradong" will be about the realistic love between a young man and a woman. The movie will contain the young love of people from Moradong, Sasang-gu, in Busan.
Keyeast Entertainment shared their side regarding Lee Dong Hwi's casting and stated that the actor is positively reviewing the offer.
Lee Dong Hwi will bring life to the role of Han Seon Woo, an architect who also teaches at a university. Han Ji Eun on the other hand will portray the role of Min Woo Jung, a barista at a coffee shop who's aiming to have her own cafe with her own brand.
"Moradong" is set to film soon and it will reportedly premiere next year.
Lee Dong Hwi was part of the 2021 movie "New Year Blues" with Kim Kang Woo, Yoo In Na, Yoo Yeon Seok, Lee Yun Hee, and more. He will also star in the upcoming dramas "Unframed" and "The Man Who Sees the Left, the Woman Who Sees the Right." He will also return to dramas with the upcoming Netflix original series "Glitch" with Jeon Yeo Been, After School's Nana, Ryu Kyung Soo, Jung Da Bin, Ko Chang Seok, and more.
Meanwhile, Han Ji Eun will return to movies after 3 years. She last starred in the movie "Scent of a Ghost." She will also star in the 2021 drama "Bad and Crazy" with Lee Dong Wook, Wi Ha Joon, and VIXX N.
