MBC's upcoming historical drama Knight Flower has unveiled a teaser.
Knight Flower follows the story of Yeo Hwa (Lee Ha Nee), a widow leading a double life, who gets entangled with Park Su Ho (Lee Jong Won), a hard-working senior officer known for his intelligence and martial arts skills.
The teaser kicks off by showing Cho Yeo Hwa dressed in a modest traditional hanbok, standing at the edge of a cliff. The voiceover says, "They say a widow should not go outside the wall," and a woman sharply remarks, "What can a widow who can't even cross the wall do?". The words reflect the reality of a widow of the Joseon era.
The mood shifts, and in the following scene, Cho Yeo Hwa, wearing a dark-colored warrior's attire with a mask covering her face, jumps over the fence, going out to help the desperate.
Taking out her opponents like butter, her intense gaze after asserting, "I haven't been caught by anyone for years. It will continue to be that way in the future," indicates she is a force to be reckoned with.
The teaser gives a sneak peek into the intriguing story, sparking curiosity about Cho Yeo Hwa's secret identity and her escapades as a widow, garnering expectations for this historical action comedy drama.
MBC's Knight Flower also stars Lee Jong Won, Lee Ki Woo, Park Se Hyun, Kim Sang Joong, and Woo Kang Min, among others.
Knight Flower is scheduled to premiere on January 12. Watch the teaser below.
