JTBC's upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama, Great Problem Solver, has confirmed its release date for January 31.
Great Problem Solver is the story of Kim Sa Ra, South Korea's top divorce mediator, and a cunning lawyer, Dong Ki Joon, working at the divorce settlement firm Solution.
In the K-drama, actress Lee Ji Ah (The Ghost Detective, The Penthouse: War in Life, Pandora: Beneath the Paradise) takes on the role of Kim Sa Ra, the team leader at the divorce settlement firm Solution. After having lost everything overnight due to her husband's betrayal, Sa Ra becomes a divorce mediator who punishes disloyal and wicked spouses, and provides a solution to troubled marriages.
Kang Ki Young (Extraordinary Attorney Woo, The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch, The Point Men) plays Dong Ki Joon, Kim Sa Ra's business partner and a lawyer handling consultations at Solution. Reputed for his dedication and exceptional skills, he earned the nickname "German Shepherd" and had the highest success rate among his peers during his days as a prosecutor in the Western District Prosecutors' Office.
Viewers are eagerly looking forward to the character dynamics between the talented actors Lee Ji Ah and Kang Ki Young. The K-drama is helmed by Sell Your Haunted House director Park Jin Suk, with the screenplay penned by Jung Hee Sun. Great Problem Solver also casts Kim Sun Young (Crash Course in Romance, Backstreet Rookie, Crash Landing on You, Reply 1988, Concrete Utopia)and Oh Min Suk (Kill Me, Heal Me, Misaeng: Incomplete Life, Gunman In Joseon) in supporting roles.
Great Problem Solver will premiere on January 31. The K-drama will be made available on Netflix.
