Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin are confirmed to work together in the upcoming drama "Ask The Stars."
On March 28th Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin both confirmed their appearance in the upcoming drama directed by Park Shin Woo ("It's Okay to Not Be Okay") and written by Seo Sook Hyang ("Pasta"). This will be the next collaboration drama of the director and writer since "Jealousy Incarnate." The drama will be produced by Keyeast Entertainment.
"Ask The Stars" is set to premiere in 2023. It will tell the stories of space tourists and astronauts and their travels to the space station and the earth.
Lee Min Ho will play the role of Gong Ryong, an OB-GYN (obstetrician-gynecologist) who went to the space station as a tourist. Gong Hyo Jin on the other hand will play the role of Eve Kim, a Korean-American astronaut.
The upcoming series is set to begin filming this April.
"Ask The Stars" will reportedly air on a domestic channel and will also be available on the global OTT streaming platform. The official details haven't been revealed yet.
"Ask The Stars" will be Lee Min Ho's follow-up drama after Apple TV's "Pachinko" with Youn Yuh Jung. This will also be his next broadcast channel drama after the 2020 drama "The King: Eternal Monarch" with Kim Go Eun, Woo Do Hwan, Lee Jung Jin, Jung Eun Chae, and more.
Meanwhile, this will be the comeback drama of Gong Hyo Jin after the hit 2019 KBS drama "When the Camellia Blooms" with Kang Ha Neul, Kim Ji Suk, Son Dam Bi, Oh Jung Se, and Yeom Hye Ran. The actress will also lead the upcoming drama "Queen of the Scene" with Park Ha Sun.
