Lee Sang Yi and Kim Sae Ron will possibly join the upcoming Netflix original series "Bloodhound"
According to media outlets on November 4th, Lee Sang Yi and Kim Sae Ron will be the newest addition to the cast line-up of "Bloodhound." They will join Woo Do Hwan and Park Sung Woong.
Kim Sae Ron's agency Gold Medalist shared their side about the reports, stating that the actress is positively reviewing the offer to star in "Bloodhound." Park Sung Woong is already confirmed to star in the drama while Woo Do Hwan and Lee Sang Yi are also still in discussion to join.
"Bloodhound" will be the latest project of director Jason Kim or also known as Kim Joo Hwan ("The Divine Fury" and "Midnight Runners"). He will be the one responsible for writing and directing the drama. The upcoming series will be based on a webtoon with the same name. It will revolve around three men who became entangled in debt but attempt to escape it in any way they can.
Kim Sae Ron and Lee Sang Yi's possible characters were not revealed.
The upcoming drama "Bloodhound" will have a total of eight episodes and it will air exclusively on Netflix. Seed Film and Studio N will produce the series.
Lee Sang Yi last starred in the recently ended drama "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" with Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min Ah. He is currently back on the stage with the musical "Gentleman's Guide." The actor has been busy this year with several projects. Aside from "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," the actor also starred in the KBS drama "Youth of May." He also made a special appearance in Kim Go Eun's series "Yumi's Cells." Aside from acting, his singing skills were also more known through "Hangout with Yoo."
Kim Sae Ron on the other hand was also part of a successful drama this year. She starred in the KakaoTV original drama "The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim" with Nam Da Reum. There are reports that the KakaoTV drama will return with a second season. This means if Kim Sae Ron accepts "Bloodhound," she will be busy with two dramas next year.
