Lee Tae Sung is returning to dramas as a villain.
On December 28th, it was announced that Lee Tae Sung will be added to the cast lineup of the upcoming tvN drama "The Ghost Doctor." He will be working with Rain, UEE, Kim Bum, and Son Na Eun.
"The Ghost Doctor" is the next work of director Boo Sung Chul ("The Heirs") and scriptwriter Kim Eun Hee ("Live Up to Your Name.") It will be produced by Studio Dragon and Bon Factory. The drama will be part of tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama lineup.
The upcoming medical fantasy drama will tell the story of two doctors who has different personalities but will share one body. One of them has no sense of duty and came from a rich family. The other has skillful hands in surgery and is considered a genius doctor.
Lee Tae Sung will play the role of Jang Min Ho, the son of the chairman of Cheonmyeong Group. He is cold-hearted who doesn't even care about his father who's in the VIP room of the hospital. He is also planning something to perfect his father's death.
Other casts of the dramas include Kim Jae Yong, Seo Ji Young, Yoon Da Kyung, Ahn Tae Hwan, Tan, and Sung Dong Il.
"The Ghost Doctor" will premiere on January 3, 10: 30 PM KST. It will air on tvN and it can be streamed globally for free through the platform VIKI.
Lee Tae Sung last starred in the 2020 drama "When My Love Blooms" with Yoo Ji Tae, Lee Bo Young, GOT7's Park Jin Young, and more. This year, he made a special appearance in the hit SBS drama "The Penthouse 3: War in Life." The actor is currently a member of the variety program "My Little Old Boy" together with his mom.
