Lee Won Jung will possibly work with brilliant actresses in his next K-drama project.
On November 12, various broadcasting officials stated that rising actor Lee Won Jung will be part of the upcoming JTBC K-drama A Hundred Memories. This K-drama is one of the most anticipated ones as it will reportedly be led by renowned actresses Kim Da Mi and Shin Ye Eun.
Lee Won Jung's side hasn't responded to the casting reports yet.
A Hundred Memories is a period K-drama that will showcase the amazing friendship and love stories of two women who were bus conductors in the 1980s.
Director Kim Sang Ho (Thirty-Nine and Run On) and writer Yang Hee Seung (Crash Course in Romance and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo) will work together to create the new period K-drama.
Lee Won Jung reportedly received the offer to portray the role of Ma Sang Cheol. He is the best friend of Heo Nam Jun's character Han Jae Pil. He is known for being an optimistic and loyal person.
A Hundred Memories will reportedly begin filming early next year with the aim of airing in 2025 as well. The upcoming JTBC K-drama will reportedly have 12 episodes.
If Lee Won Jung decides to join the new series, this will be his first K-drama project for next year. The actor is also set to make his official debut on the big screen with the upcoming film I’ll Become Rich.
