"Lies Hidden in My Garden", Featuring Kim Tae Hee and Im Ji Yeon, Drops 1st Teaser

While the fans eagerly await the release of Lies Hidden in My Garden, Genie TV has dropped the first teaser to give a sneak peek of what to expect from the drama. 

The trailer commences with Joo Ran (Kim Tae Hee) asking a question, "Do you smell anything weird?", while standing in the backyard looking at a spot surrounded by stones. 

The scene then shifts to Sang Eun (Im Ji Yeon), sweeping up broken glass from her shattered wedding photo. The scene contrasts the life of the once happy bride shown in the photo, now living in terror of her abusive husband. 

Sang Eun then asks someone sitting in front of her, "Have you ever killed someone before?" with sheer curiosity, as if the thought of murder is trivial to her. 

The series of flashes that follow showcase the chaos unfolding with Joo Ran (Kim Tae Hee) digging in her backyard, and her wild laughter indicating signs of derangement. The ending scene portrays Sang Eun (Im Ji Yeon) dressed in mourning clothes and standing face-to-face with Joo Ran (Kim Tae Hee). 

The short yet enthralling teaser provides a glimpse of the exciting thriller wrapped up in a mystery, brought by two of the most talented actresses in the Korean cinema industry. 

Based on the bestselling novel of the same name, Lies Hidden in My Garden is a suspenseful thriller that tells the story of two women who meet and find their lives changing due to the strange smell emanating from the backyard. 

In the thriller series, Im Ji Yeon plays the role of Sang Eun, a victim of domestic violence yearning to escape from her wretched reality. And, Kim Tae Hee plays the role of Joo Ran, a woman who leads an exemplary life in a perfect home but becomes entangled in turmoil when the smell of a corpse fills the backyard. 

Lies Hidden in My Garden will premiere on June 19. More news about the drama's broadcast on international OTT platforms is yet to come.
