Mun Ka Young and Koo Kyo Hwan are in discussion to be the main lead of the upcoming Korean remake of the Chinese film Us and Them.
Us And Them will showcase the love story of two people who have a heartbreaking separation and get reunited years later like fate and start looking back on the past. The story will be depicted from the hit 2018 Chinese film of the same name led by Jing Bo Ran and Zhou Dong Yu.
The Korean version will have main characters named Jeong Baek Yeon and Joo Dong Woo. These two characters are currently being offered to Mun Ka Young and Koo Kyo Hwan.
Both Mun Ka Young and Koo Kyo Hwan haven't responded to the casting news.
According to reports, the production team of Us And Them is currently in the process of casting. The production team aims to begin filming in March of 2024.
Meanwhile, there is no confirmation yet on the official release date of the Korean version of Us And Them.
If Mun Ka Young confirms her casting, this will be her grand comeback to the big screen after eight years. She last starred in a film back in 2016 through the movie Twenty Again. Mun Ka Young is known for leading the hit K-dramas The Interest of Love, True Beauty, Find Me in Your Memory, Eulachacha Waikiki Season 2, and more.
Meanwhile, if Koo Kyo Hwan decides to join Us And Them, this will be his third upcoming movie. He will also join the upcoming films Escape and Finding the King. Koo Kyo Hwan will also lead the upcoming K-drama Parasyte: The Grey with Jeon So Nee and Lee Jung Hyun.
